All of our devices seem to periodically give the above error, but it is not clear why?
Good day What is the most effective way to enroll the Chainway C71 device onto MobiControl? I don't see any device agent available on the website. Regards
We're looking at leveraging the new User Enrollment feature of iOS 13 and are having a tough time connecting our on-prem MobiControl instance to our Azure AD. We have followed the instructions here (https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v14.0/en/console/system/ldap/azure_authenticate_mc.html) but are confused about number 3 ("Configure permissions for the application"). In Azure, we have granted "Directory.Read.All" permissions for the app and we are fairly certain we have entered everything correctly but we cannot get it to work. When searching the directory (through the Security tab), we get "The server could not complete your request. An internal error occurred." In the ManagementService logs it looks like it is failing while trying to acquire a token. Has anyone had similar issues? We have already synced to AD using a traditional LDAP connection, but we would like to figure out how to connect to Azure as well.
Hi. I deleted a group with one device in it. I cannot find the device...I assumed it would show in View All Devices. Any idea how I can find that device that was in that group? I don't have physical access to the device. tia.
In MobiControl web console, Devices... When you click on a device name you can find Custom Data at bottom of Device Details tab How's that different from the Collected Data tab (way to the right) ?
We are using AE with lockdown - Activity Suppression mode. We need to be able to force close one of the apps if it stops working, but I can't seem to find a way of doing this. Please could someone point me in the right direction?
Hi, I want to upgrade our Galaxy Tab S4 devices from ELM version 13.7.5 to 14.0.0 the agent upgrade is enabled on the server (ver. 14.1.3.1587) however, when I click on "upgrade agent" the site says "The action cannot be executed because the agent is already compatible" Got any suggestions here? We have a lot of TC56 in the filed and all keep connection to MobiControl server if there is a Wifi or mobile connection.But on a view devices the agent gets disconnected even if there is an active network connection (other apps can work well over the internet). After a reset the MobiControl agent remains disconnected. You can only get the agent connected if you tap on the “Agent Status” in the Device configuration view of the MobiControl agent. But it gets disconnected after a few minutes again. The connection settings are Perisistent for these devices (like for all other devices) How can I get these devices pemanently online again? MobiControl version: 14.4.3 Android Enterprise Agent Versio: several 13.6.0 - 14.0.0
Hi, We have a few Samsung Galaxy TabS4 devices with mobicontrol agent ver. 13.7.5...the problem is, that after synchronization it disables "automatic date and time" in the settings, however we have an app, that this setting is mandatory for. Build number for the server is: 14.1.3.1587 So far I've tried turn on and off the "time synchronazation" in the advanced setting in mobicontrol, but that didn't helped. Thanks in advance!
MobiControl device agent and some other MDM/EMM related files are often not wiped even after a normal factory reset on Zebra dervices. The reason is probably due to the fact that such files are stored in a secured enterprise partition different from the normal partition for other apps and data. So, what are the possible procedures to remotely wipe everything on a Zebra device? If MX commands in .xml file are needed, can anyone provide example? Is that any other approach (e.g. using Zebra MX utility software) if the device is on hand (can thus can get connected via a USB cable)?
Hello all, I have the next problem : I have a generic-no brand Android 7.1.2 TV. My goal is to install a lockdown mode on it and allow access to only one webpage. The problem I have is next:I have no idea what specific OEM agent to download, as the tv has no brand. The only info I could get for it is that it is a "rockchip-rk3288". If i try to download the Android Enterprise application from Google Play, i can enroll the TV with a Android+ code , but not with an Android Enterprise code(INVALID ENROLLEMENT ID ERROR). Why is that a problem? Because if I enroll it with a Android+ Code, after the enrollement it will delete that agent and install a work profile.So, I will have a device registered as Android+, but which in fact is Android Enterprise. So I can not assign any profiles to it. Any solutions?Cheers,
We seem to be having more and more issues with Remote Control HTML 5 of Android devices. When we use the classic remote control things are fine, but on the HMTL5 version we often get: Event code 1000: WebSocket closed normally. Wondered if anyone has seen similar issue or knows the cause? We are MC on-prem 13.3.0.3454
I am working with Mobicontrol 13.2.0.3081. I am trying to configure an Alert Rule that will alert me when a device has not connected for 30 days. I have successfully configured the Alert Rule and I have received emails, however the emails do not contain the device name. What do I need to add to the Customized alert message so the emails contain the device name? Mobicontrol version - 13.2.0.3081
Hello all, I work with mobicontrol on version v13.3.3454 and i have just one device Zebra TC75X under android -> 7. Enrolled by android+ On this device when I install a app, the app ask me the to accept permission. For to avoid this, with zebra StageNow, i have made a xml file for to install this app in mode silent -> permission are not demand to the user. That's work fine. But my problem is, I have create a package studio, right click add a file (appName.apk) and for the destination file /sdcard/AppToInstall the folder AppToInstall is create by a pre install script -> work every time My problem is, the profile is always well installed but the apk it's never INSIDE in the folder AppToInstall !!! I've try to change the destination path with add / or delete / before sdcard ...but nothing work.. Also, I have open again the package studio an replace the apk file by a file txt file, replace the package inside the profile -> assign profile -> result the file is well inside the folder AppToInstall :) Someone can tell me, how i can copy an apk to a folder inside the folder structure ? That's enough strange .. thanks for your time
