I have already create a Kiosk Mode html template with approved apps and run smoothly now. Now, I want to create a icon / folder to contain the same brand applications: 1 - There have Microsoft Excel & Word & PowerPoint in my Kiosk Mode screen 2 - I want to create a icon / folder named "Microsoft" and it will show Microsoft Word & Excel 3 - After click backward button, it will display main Kiosk Mode screen I tried to create a icon that point to another .html template but failed, because I do not know where the .html template located... How can I achieve this with any suggestions?
Aloha, I am testing a Zebra TC 57 and spent almost all week on the phone with support trying to get this device to work properly. SOTI support actually did everything for me to ensure it was done correctly. Created the add device rule, then walked me through the rest of the steps to set up this device. Every thing looked great until I tried to make a call, there was no contact in my contacts list. I thought it would have populated through Google since our account is binned. But I just added another Goggle account (same account that is binned) to populate the contact list. Problem solved...nope open the contact list and could not call though the contacts but if I switch to favorite list I am able. Made another call to SOTI and they verified everything is set up correctly, but found on the Kiosk, advanced setting I needed to check off the Activity Suppression. That fixed the contact list problem. But I also had a Blue tooth failed to pair problem. I shared with support I noticed a lot of apps was uninstalled and sure enough we found the Bluetooth paired utility was uninstalled. Support sent a script to reinstall and that seemed to work. Everything looked fine and worked. Excited I made my way to our vehicle to pair the device, dun, dun duuuunnnnnn. Bluetooth was not finding any active blue tooth devices, I decided to reboot the device. And as the device powered up it got stuck on the splash screen. Could not power off, nothing. I pulled the battery and tired to restart it same this stuck on the splash screen. Finally I did a factory reset (thank God that work) and tried to re-enrolled the device and was successful but all the problems still exist. If any one has been successful enrolling their device please share your victory and how you did it. I would like this device to be set up as a Work managed device, Kiosk/Lockdown, including Setting manager and feature Control. If any one has any detailed info on how to enroll that would be awesome! Hello all, we work with some device zebra tc75x with android 6 the version of our mobicontrol version is 13.3.3454 On device we have the client on version 13.3.2 build 1014 Device is enroll by android + All works fine :) We have just sometimes some device who aren't connected because after a reboot of the device are connected in roaming. How i can disable the roaming ? I've look on feature control and find this option: disable roaming syncing I'm not on the border of the country, it's enough difficult for me to test without take the device and go to the next country. But perhpas some person can tell me if this option is enough or not ? thanks for all
good morning, we want to implement that our users are able to install profil updates by the option "selfserv". we are using TC77 with soti lockdown. we dont want that the user have to leave the lockdown. i can create an shurtcut to the mobicontrol agent, then it's possible to install the profiles manually. But it's also possible to disconnect, unenroll and so on, with this option. is it possible to generate an shurtcut dircet to the profile installation without any other options ? thx in advance mark

Is there any way to open Chrome without the address bar via a Lockdown screen on Android Enterprise (OS 8.1.0) devices? Our self-service payroll portal will only allow the download of pdf timesheets in Chrome on our Android Enterprise devices (long story, already looked at in Surf by SOTI devs) but we still want to use SOTI Surf for the rest of our URLs. I know the below intent works fine with this url on our devices: intent://randompayrollwebsite.com#Intent;scheme=https;package=com.android.chrome;end The issue we have is that the address bar is shown and engineers have access to other websites using the tabs which we'd rather not have as we use web filters categories in SOTI Surf. I have tested the website using the standard browser (eg. adding https://randompayrollwebsite.com to the lockdown screen) and the SOTI Surf browser and neither of these will open the pdfs via the website. Other pdfs open fine in Surf and we have the Adobe Reader package in our Lockdown profiles. The only solution I can think of is adding a 'Web Filter' profile to block all other websites, but the issue with this solution is that the engineers would then be unable to open URLs in Gmail (as Gmail is now the default Exchange email provider in Android Enterprise and the 'Open Web links in Gmail' option is set by default in the Gmail app). Unless there is a way to unset the 'Open Web links in Gmail' as default via SOTI, but I couldn't see this as an option anywhere? If there is another intent that could help I would love to hear it. Hi Both on location settings for soti and google maps the device fails to find a location. Permissions appear to be set for both but unable to find location Running android V 9, Device agent 13.7.4.1015 Soti mobicontrol V14.4 Any help appreciated
I got the question from my customer as for the migration of iOS devices. Can you please the migration I write below can work? The customer's demand Replace the old iOS devices (iPhone8, Apple Device Enrollment Program; DEP) at the end user to the new iOS devices (iPhone8, Apple Business Manager; ABM) The assuming steps by the customer Upgrade DEP to ABM at the end user. Backup old iOS devices by iTunes. Enroll new iOS devices in ABM. Restore the backup to the new iOS devices. Suspicious issues . Do the differences of serial numbers between old devices and the new devices affect the migration? . Does the backup by iTunes cover all required contents?
Hi! Is there some way of issuing an adb shell intent command to a device running MobiControl to issue a script on the device? Does MobiControl have an intent receiver? The reason for this is that we have devices with a crashing agent as soon as we exit the lockdown manually, the devices are offline and can't be put online again so we want to be able to send script notify kiosk off to the devices.
