Over the last 2 months we have rolled out Mobi Control to 152 iPhone 7 devices. We have had a few issues with the Mobi control system but Soti tech support has been able to now get us sorted out to a point where I am gaining confidence in the system. Now that the dust has settled a little bit we have turned our attention to the telcom management piece in an attempt to reign in a number of our high data usage users. According to our sales person, and Soti's own documentation (https://www.soti.net/media/6018/telecomexpensemanagement.pdf) this feature is fully supported on IOS devices. We have been struggling to implement any sort of limit warnings in our environment and have since been told by Soti tech support that for this feature to work on IOS the Mobi control app must not only be running on the users phone but also be in the foreground? This cannot be correct is it?
Hi, We would like to disable any Screen Lock on our android devices (slide, passcode, pattern, pin, password). How can this be done? We have a few hundred devices, so it should be done with soti. Is there any way to do that?
What are the options for configuring a Library Path for a MobiControl Cloud instance? Does SOTI provide access to any local storage within the cloud hosted server? Can you leverage some sort of external SFTP share?
Android Plus devices with Policy setting for VPN connection but don't have app specific VPN setting. At iOS, there have per app vpn that with app specific route. How about Android Plus device?
I have deployed these apps as "Suggested" applications in my App Catalog Rules, so the user must navigate to the App Catalog webclip in order to install/update these applications. When an update is available, they click on the "Download" button next to the application. However, on some of my users' iOS devices, after the application is updated on the device, the application fails to launch. Note that although it only affects some users, this has happened when updating any of the applications in the App Catalog, so it is not application specific.

All my devices are IOS and when attempting to use the location services, it times out. I have checked the configuration settings in the Rule Data Collection and they seem to be correct What troubleshooting methods can I apply to figure out why location service is not working.
We have a bunch of Android tablets that are at 10 minutes for screen timeout. The max the OS allows is 30 minutes. I recently came across Android Settings Manager and have pushed it to a test device I have. We are using a lockdown screen and I would like to avoid any user interaction if possible. Is there a way for me to push Settings Manager with Never for screen timeout where the users don't have to change it? I'm hoping to push the app and not show it on the lockdown screen. If not, is there any script I may be able to run to change my screen timeout from 10 to 30 minutes? I was given this... Hi Everyone, Looking for guidance as Divide for Productivity is no longer in the Google Play store. We have some hardware(non Samsungs) that are using the Android for Work platform and we've configured the Exchange for Divide. We are now unable to install Divide for Productivity within the work space environment which means Exchange email can no longer be configured. I heard that Exchange for Gmail only works when you have register the domain via Google? Any other option I have?
Hi, i have a problem with the device name. i have a zebra / symbol MC92 CE7 installed with an agent and everything works perfect. only when i want to reinstall the scanner with a diffrent agent (and diffrent device name) the scanner keeps the 'old' device name. the rest of the 'new agent' is working fine. like device target. Old device name ( agent WH700 / target folder wh700_staging) : MC92N0CE_WH700 new device name ( agent WH100 / target folder wh100_staging): MC92N0CE_WH100 what did i do: factory reset the device (mc92) delete device from soti when it is offline reinstall the device with the new agent (agent wh100). check if the device installed the new agent --> Yes device name still MC92N0CE_WH700. NOT correct device location WH100_staging. Correct. anyone an idea?
