Hi all Since moving to Samsung devices with Android 14 installed, when sending battery optimisations to disable via legacy script I am getting an error message that says the device doesn't support the command. The devices being sent the script are Galaxy Tab Active 5 SM-X306B enrolled via Classic. I currently have no way of testing whether it is actually working, there aren't very many users using this device as yet and on Android 14, Android 13 devices accept the script without error. There are 2 apps built inhouse that require the battery optimisations to be disabled to function the way we intend. I am wondering whether or not the script command has changed with android 14? Not entirely sure something like that would otherwise be changed when that command has been around for so long. The command we send is: writeprivateprofstring DeviceFeature DisableDozeMode 1 Followed by: batteryoptimize disable packageid The device log then says: Agent used on the device is 2024.1.0 Has anyone else experienced the same issue as above? MobiControl instance is running 2024.1.0.1052 Thanks

Android 11 and 13 on Zebra TC72 and L10 Lockdown in Mobicontrol, type "Activity suppression" I have a communication app "SYNCH" (com.elbit.italk) that we lauch from the lockdown, but only if permission "Display over other apps" is give manually.Am I allowed by Android to script this, perhaps using StageNow, as we have hundreds of devices. ? I think so when I look at this link and video embedded Enabling Display Over Other Apps Permission via MDM/EMM OEMConfig (zebra.com) But my app is not installed from an APK file as shown in guide, but installed by a policy through Google Play store.So how do extract the signature from an app, that is installed on one of my devices?
Hello everyone, We currently have the problem that we cannot renew our VPP token. The error message shown in the screenshot appears. We are also unable to perform a VPP sync (result: the same error message). However, the VPP connection test works successfully. If the app mentioned in the error message is removed in the Business Manager, a different app ID appears. Has anyone had this problem before?

Is there a way to allow com.google.android.keep app on a Zebra MC94 scanner. The problem is I need a text app for testing purpose and the scanners are not connected to the internet, so no google playstore. I also do not want to download an apk from an unofficial page. So I tried to use the google keep app which is pre-installed on the device. But when I try to open it says "changes are not permitted of your administrator" (My Scanner is in German, so I am not quite sure about the message in english). thanks for your help.

If we add a multiple note, in dashboard it should show the latest note.
Hello, Following a migration from Android 11 to Android 13 on ZEBRA model TC21 terminals, some have lost the virtual keyboard. The virtual keyboard is no longer available from any application (Chrome, system, ...). During my first production runs, 5/63 terminals had this problem.When I view the list of applications from the mobicontrol device file, I see that my failed terminals have two versions of the Gboard app: “com.google.android.inputmethod.latin” which is in the ‘uninstalled’ state “com.android.inputmethod.latin”, which is in the ‘installed’ state. Terminals that are not failed only display “com.google.android.inputmethod.latin” in the “installed” state. I have tried unsuccessfully to re-enable / re-install this bundel “com.google.android.inputmethod.latin” by several different methods (Mobicontrol / Mx). My device use Agent Mobicontrol : 2024.0.2.1131 OEM version : 13-30-12.00-TG-U04-STD-HEL-04 Any ideas?
How do I write the Device ID and Mac Address to an XML file on the SD Card? Is that possible? Here is what I have so far from, but i'm not sure how to get this in a XML file on the device: function getDeviceId() { return mobicontrol.device.id; } var deviceId = getDeviceId(); mobicontrol.log.info("Device ID: " + deviceId);
Hi I already created a case on SOTI support, but it seems to be a very odd case that we cant find a fix for yet. I hope I get more information here and a possible fix. Yesterday someone set up “Google Managed Play” with me. (via gmail account) We’ve tested one application via a simple lockdown profile and everything was working fine. This morning I wanted to push this to all my other devices and sadly I’m facing problems I cannot explain. I will explain what the user story is; We have an application via Google Managed Play named “Payconiq GO” I push the application via a rule to the devices and I can see it is installed on each device I want. I can open the application with no problems. But… This application requires me to login with credentials. As soon as I click the button to login. It directs me to an authentication page. When I try to login I can see a grey bar going from top to bottom, as it seems to block the pop up to login. (grey bar shown in middle of screenshot) A very very strange thing here is. The device we were testing yesterday with a simple lockdown profile. I moved this to the store folder so it had all configuration applied like in the store (all test profiles from yesterday were administratively removed) The login page works perfectly on this devices and it doesn’t get blocked. It directs me to the login/authentication page with no problem. We tried several things so far; - Unenroll device -Swap profiles/create new ones -reset account for connection with store -Uninstall/install the application again
Hello,Following the update to Android 14 on our managed Samsung devices, we are getting a net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME when trying to access the wifi app using the action ''action://CONFIGURE_WIFI'' in lockdown mode.Is there any workaround or fix to this? I've tried sending intents with ''android.settings.WIFI_SETTINGS'' without luck.Thank you,
New to JS but I want to sync a certain time zone xml file based on the location of a device, where i will get the location from the custom attribute. is this possible? I found this on SOTI portal but not sure how to use it with processing the time zone file that I've synced, instead of just displaying it in the logs. SEFL_LOC is my custom attribute: var myCustomValue = mobicontrol.agent.getCustomAttribute("SEFL_LOC"); if (myCustomValue != null) { mobicontrol.log.info("Custom attribute for key SEFL_LOC: " + myCustomValue); } else { mobicontrol.log.info("Custom attribute for key SEFL_LOC is not found"); } sdcard/Timezones is the path
