Hi, Does anyone know which browser the Lock Down - Kiosk browser uses? This is the "https://" option when adding a screen item. This seem to have the affect of make the web page full screen however, we noted that performance on the web pages is very poor in comparison to using Chrome driectly or the "Browsers://" option. Is there anyway to replicate the full screen without using "https://" Thanks
Good morning, We have encountered an issue with pairing to the printer: - Device type: TC75 - Printer: Honeywell RP4F When we do not have any Application Run Control restriction, when we try to pair the printer to our app we have the following pop up (behavior OK): I have sent the script identify_activity, the activity linked to this pop up is: => com.android.settings/.bluetooth.BluetoothPairingDialog We are facing the issue when we are activating the Application Run Control restriction, we have a app control whitelist containing the following app id: net.soti.mobicontrol.motorola AtheliaAndroidUpdater.App Servitrax.Android com.zebra.hotswap We also have a feature control configuration. With that restriction, when we try to print/pair, it loads for a long time, does not display the pop up and ends up failing (behavior KO). I tried adding multiple bluetooth app id without success, for example: com.android.bluetooth com.symbol.btapp com.ppn.bluetooth com.zebra.bluetooth com.zebra.bluetooth.settings com.gonext.bluetoothpair We tried also using the manualblacklist command but we had problem on our devices after using it so we don't want to proceed like this. To be noted: our customer does not wish to have the setting app in the whitelist. Does someone have an idea about which app id we should include in the whitelist in order to make it work and the pop up to appear? Or what we need to modify ?
Hi, Is managed config in enterprise App policy (not Google Play) working fine for you all? I have latest Mobicontrol (2024.0.1.1020) angents, fully managed Zebra TC53 with latest Android 13 and as delivering apps from Google Play is hit an miss and I don't want to wait hours till it get installed in the device I've tried to distribute OEMConfig app as enterprise. It was delivered quite fast but without managed config ?! Is anyone else using it ?

Hi, I have an unfortunate and annoying situation, so any helpful ideas would be welcome. I have to deploy a third party application which has two "flavours" (trainer & production) but the same bundle ID, application name and version. Developer isn't able to alter the bundle ID. The setup is as follows Trainer Device -> Trainer Profile -> Trainer Package -> Trainer apk Production Device -> Production Profile -> Production Package -> Production apk Packages are just the apk but set to uninstall application on package removal. Sometimes, Ill need to move trainers into production and vice versa, but not often. I have found cases where the applications have not swapped when moved between groups e.g. Moved Trainer -> Production but the device keeps Trainer version of the apk. Though these are rare and I think tend to happen either when the server is busy / limited mobile data on the device. Obviously I cant tell which version of the application is actually installed. I also cant add an uninstall pre-install script as part of the package as I don't want to delete the app storage during a genuine package upgrade. Currently I have to remember to revoke the Trainer Profile from the device and then move to the Production group. If anyone can think of any neat, automatic way around this, I would be very happy :) Thanks Adam
We have an issue with a certain app and with the Samsung A13 with android 13 and android 14, the developers of the app can't bring us a solution, the only respond is security reasons about it. can anyone have the same issue?
Hello, we currently use a managed enterprise account for installing apps from the Google Play Store on Android devices. Some customers have a need for paid apps, but we're unable to release them via the Soti app policy. Do you have any experience with paid apps and what would be the best way to handle it? Thank you
Hello, I'd like to use Mobicontrol 2024 in a closed network and thus doesn't need of all Soti's online services. I've made tests on a local Server, but seems to be difficult to register any Android. Is there somewhere a doc that explains what can and can't be done, or maybe your own experience in those case. thanks a lot.
Hi We look for a solution but not really find one. Device: Zebra MC 9300, OS: Android 11, Browser Velocity 2.1.34, SOTI MobiControl 2024.0.0.1075. The Browser Package "Velocity 2.1.34" we can distribute from the SOTI MobiControl. All works fine. Also we not need to give the permission this works also fine.. But we cant find really a solution to send the the settings (wldep file). Did you have maybe a better workaorund as to work with the stage now or manually copy. By the way, how we can delete the demo profile that is as standard installed? I see that is possible with a script?? Many thanks...
Hello, After rebooting the CK75 (Android 6) the Term Relay application is removed. As you can see in the configuration from MobiControl the profile is assigned and the application seems to be installed. In the logs I cannot find the issue. Any one gets similar issue and have a solution will be apriciated. Thanks Amine
Hi, hopefully someone can help me out here...We are using multiple Panasonic Handhelds FZ-N1 for our logistic departments which have different Android OS. Starting from 6.0.1 till 11. We push several profiles to the older android devices, but some of them we need to be able to push also to the android 11 devices... Unfortunately that part doesn't work ! I found several solutions already... Like pushing the following script :request_appops_permission MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE But this doesn't seem to do anything ? Anyone who can help us out, and make our job al whole lot easier ? :-) thx in advance
Good morning, I'm writing to you because I used the script below: manualblacklist reset manualblacklist addallowed com.android.settings/com.android.settings.Settings $BluetoothSettingsActivity manualblacklist on I used this script to authorize a pop-up for bluetooth pairing on many TC75 devices. After using this script, we realized that many devices are boot-looping. It seems also to be linked to a wifi detection notification. I would like to know if you can help me to know exactly what is doing the script and, in particular, the manualblacklist reset. Do you have any documentation on the manualblacklist commands. Is it possible to list the manualblacklist contain ? I tried manualblacklist list but doesn't show anything. Thank you. Below an example of device that seems to be affected
So currently I have a clear cache script that i deploy to our devices via a profile and it puts clearcache.scr file in the root of the device and i have an icon on the lock screen to call this script and it will clear cache on the selected applications. What I am trying to figure out is there a way i can have a prompt in this script that if they answer yes it runs and if they answer no it will just exit? HeyI try set time Time and date settings and TimeZoneI have Zebra TC51 with Android 8.1, MX 10.3.0.29 and TC52 A11, MX 13.2.0.3 Try using Group - Advanced configuration - Time Synchronization I see it working on TC52 A11, but not on TC51 A8.1 Then my thought was to control it with Zebra OEM config, but can't find the right syntax documentation.Is it UTC, GMT, Town name ?
