Attempting to assign a profile for Managed Google Play on devices, but when trying to assign a filter to have this profile apply only to devices with a specific Enterprise Name results in it not applying the filter and saying that it's invalid after pressing Assign Policy after pressing the Assign Policy button, the below happens
Hi. Is there any way how to send custom data from SOTI to app or can I at least determine the profile, which device is enrolled in? The use case is that I need to show some information in app according to which profile device is enrolled in. I found only one way so far, which is to assign a config file to device from profile and then read it in app, but it doesn't seem like the easiest and cleanest way to do it, and besides, app need read permissions. MobiControl version: 15.0.1.1181
Hello Everyone, I would like to lower the amount of space taken up on our SOTI server. While deleting old versions of packages, I'm wondering if I can delete an older version of a profile. I found out that if I choose an old version of a profile and click delete, it still deltes the whole profile. Any ideas?
Hi guys! I need some help with my VPN. I already deployed Cisco Anyconnect to my Android Tablet, but since now it was not possible for me to configure an automatic configuration for the VPN Profile with the right settings and a VPN certificate for the authentification. Also as if i try to make a profile in Mobicontrol, to test-deploy a certificate i cannot upload the certificate. I have a .pfx, didn't work. Tried the .key, didn't work either. Also for a .crt. Somehow it is telling me in some cases that the password for the file is not correct. But i know that it is correct - i also tried then to remove the password, but the same story. No password is also a false password. I am looking forward for your answers! Thanks in advance! :) Best regards, Gerrit
Hi. mobicontrol 15.6TC52x deviceAndroid 10 We have a single apk that runs on our work managed devices When new apk needs pushing to device, I upload the pcg file (from mcpkg studio) and assign it in the profile. Until just recently, the device would get updated within like 5min... Not anymore for some reason. I've tried manually Checkin the device but I cannot seem to trigger it to update/install the new apk. I am not sure what triggers it. I have no Assign|Options set other than defaults. The devices are on a 2hr Update Schedule. It is now taking anywhere from 20min to an hour or more. It used to be no longer than 5min. Any ideas on how to get it out of the "Pending Install" phase ?

I have a Zebra ET45. I'm using SOTI Version: 15.2.3.1033. I've enrolled it with enterprise profile. For other devices it is working. But for ET45, profiles are not getting installed. Enrolled device I can see but I'm not able to figure out why Mangement Type is Unknown. What could be wrong? Any idea? It doesn't even say that profile installation failed etc.
Hello Soti COmmunity, I have since about 4 weeks the problem that I can no longer configure Application Run Control. Before I had edited a profile öffter one after the other and then suddenly came when editing the error. Does anyone have an idea what it can be and how I get this error away? I have upgraded to Soti Mobicontrol 15.6.1 and it is installed on a Windows Server 2016. If any other details are needed please let me know. Thank you very much for your support.
Good morning, I am needing to send an uninstall app script to about 500 devices who have the same profile assigned. This profile has an app apk package that I would like to uninstall using an uninstall script. Is there a way to send the script to the entire profile instead of selecting multiple devices and sending the devices the script? I do not want to get rid of the package itself, I want to uninstall the app from the devices and then assign a new version of the app via a package. I tried to package up and do a new version string, but the install is failing on my test devices saying "failed to install i/o error". so far the only way I can resolve this is by uninstalling the app first then pushing it out again.
I'm relatively new to work profiles and how they work.I have an oppo Android 10 device enrolled in Soti as work profile.Yet only a few apps are showing in the work environment which include: Chrome, contacts, Files, Google, Mobicontrol and Playstore.I have 2 questions regarding apps.1. How can I add the standard camera app (available in Personal) to my work profile?2. What are the methods of adding other apps to the work profile (not already present on the device)- Custom apps- Playstore appsHope others have more experience with this. Thanks in advance.
Good Morning. I pushed a very heavy update to our profile that contains our company devices. For the most part, the installation is going well. I have about 9 devices that are showing "Partially Installed" .I'd like to identify those devices to take a look at the configuration and troubleshoot. This profile has over 500 devices, so looking through each device is not efficient. Do SOTI have a feature or script to ping the partially installed devices?

Hi all, we have to configure a APN manually on some devices. I wanted to do it in mobicontrol (profile -> APN) but there i have to setup several fields which i don't need and 2 fields i have to fill in are missing. Possible and needed: Name (SFR Tablet) APN (websfr) Default Connection (Check) Don't need but mobicontrol wants it: Access Point Type MVNO Type Needed but no option: APN-Protokoll (IPv4) APN-Roaming-Protokoll (IPv4) Is there any way to enter this maybe with a script instead of profile?

I'm a little new to this so I'm sure this will be obvious to some. We have a very simple profile, disable factory reset, and disable managed app uninstall. We have a issue with one of our devices in the field and we need to remove the restriction of the disable managed app uninstall. Am I better off 1. Clone the profile, rename with the restriction removed and un-assign the first profile to the device and assign the new profile to the device? 2. In the assign part, uncheck the device. Any help would be appreciated.
