Hi,I use Soti's lockdown profile with an HTML template on Zebra Android TC72s. the disadvantage is that with this profile, the virtual keyboard appears all the time by default, you always have to click on return to bring it down and see the screen clearly.

We have a GooglePlay Store app called SmarterDriver which we deploy to our android enterprise devices and this has been working perfectly until recently when the app was updated in the play store. Now when you launch the app from the lockdown screen you are unable to get past the applications sign in button. Clicking on the button does nothing. Revoking the lockscreen lets you see what is going on - basically after launching the app you get a sign in button, when you click the sign in button this opens a webpage and then you can sign in. Adding the URL to the lockscreen and then clicking on the shortcut link to the URL does allow you to sign in directly to the website which the app is redirecting to, but this is not ideal in case the vendor updates their URL (I know we could push out the URL) There is no change in behaviour when clicking on the app from the lockscreen despite the URL being present as another entry on the lockscreen. Is the only way to get round this to install the app from the playstore as we are already doing but have no entry to it on the lockscreen and instead just have the URL on the lockscreen? Ideally is there some way to whitelist the website without adding it to the lockscreen and without providing an entry point directly to the URL from the lockscreen
Hello everyone, I have purchased a new Zebra TC58 device (Android 11) and would like to be able to control it via SOTI. It has been staged with Android Plus using an Enrollment ID directly, so the SOTI agent is present right after setting up the device. The remote control function is not working correctly because when I try to remotely control the device, only a white screen appears. However, the device activates the screen as soon as I attempt to access it (indicating that it recognizes my attempt to access), but I can neither see the device in the browser nor control it. This issue persists even after reinstalling the profiles, restarting, or checking in. Initially, I thought it might be due to the OS version, so I updated it to 11-25-02.00, but this did not resolve the problem. Have I missed something? Can someone help me further? Hello, I'm writing to you because I need help adding a "Bluetooth Settings" shortcut to a profile created on Samsung Xcover5 devices. I'm using the lock function on the profile and would like users to be able to easily pair a device. Without the user being able to access the other settings. Just as is possible with Wifi management using the Action://CONFIGURE_WIFI parameter. I've tried the Settings Manager application, but it's not compatible with the creation of a professional profile. I tried disabling all functions in "Function Control" and leaving only Bluetooth management, but this still leaves a lot of settings accessible. I hope I've made myself clear.Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello , I have a question. I am using profiles to install an apk on devices(zebra mc33). I am using different profiles for the same application depending on the version (i do that because i have to update many devices and not all together). So for example i have a profile named (apkv3) and i want to upgrade on (apkv4)i will make a new profile named apkv4 and assign it to the devices i want to update (the apk wont install because the previous version is still there so i just revoke the profile v3 and force package reinstall v4. (i know its not optimal but it works for now ) . Today i assign the new profile on all devices in preparation for update ,and knowing it will not apply itself if i do not do it manually, i also had some devices already updated on v4. The apk v4 that was already updated got deleted while the package was showing as installed this did not happen all the updated devices but in some groups and i cannot see the reason (i had to force package re installation on an already showing installed profile to fix the issue) Sorry for the wall of text.
Hello, I just wanted to confirm the best way to remove a device fully from Mobicontrol if enrolled as Android Enterprise (using afw#). We have tried: Wipe the device in Mobicontrol console Delete the device from Mobicontrol However some of the devices have reappeared after being booted. We think this may have been due to the devices being off/offline when the commands were sent. Would the above process be best if the devices are turned on at the time?
After exporting a device list with " agent disconnect time" in it, it's alomst impossible to transfer it to Excel. Did anyone succeed to transfer this list to Excel and normally sort on dates or create a pivot table?
Hi, I had to install a banking app on our T26 Android11 devices. Apon running the app for the first time I get a wizard which I have go through. On a specific step I have to give permissions in the Accesibility settings for the app. We are using Lockdown on all of our devices and because of this Accesibility is almost instantly closed or moved in the backgound. The only way to setup the app is to exit from lockdown. How to give permission to Accessibility? Many thanks,
Hello, I have 3 items in my lockdown mode, and I want to always go back to lockdown mode when the device locks. I have configured the device with screen timeout of 60 seconds and after that when the user unlocks the device again I want to show lockdown menu. Thanks.
We have about 50 Samsung Tablets that have been sitting in our storage room. We have enrolled them into soti. Our problem is that they have been sitting in storage so long, the updates have piled up. So far, I have not found a way to quickly get through the updates. Each device is taking about 4 hours. Is there a script we can send to the tablets to auto start updates or even skip to the latest update?
Hi, I would like to know how I can see if a device is actively being used. We receive many requests for new scanners and I have to inform management whether the scanners they already have are actually being used. I have looked at agent connection time and disconnected time, but this is of no use to me because the device is always on a charger and therefore always connected to Mobicontrol. We use Velocity to a large extent. Can I do something with this? Or are there other options to monitor something? Consider data (wifi) use. So something that allows me to see that the scanner is being used and make an export of this. Preferably also at the location.
Hello, I'm currently enroll my devices with one QrCode and then use the device camera or device scanner. Now I need to enroll one type of device without camera and scanner. I try to use the MobiControl Stage Programmer app with NFC but this app only works on older version of Android - newer version doesn't have Android Beam. What's the best alternative to enroll these devices? Thanks.
Goodmorning, I'm able to import Mobisys profiles into android 11, but extra permissions are needed. Does anyone know how to configurate the permissions trough an *.xml fille or file sync rule. See attached pictures for the permissions which will be needed.
