We are looking at using a File Sync rule to be able to push a large file down (436mb) to our Android devices to update CoPilot Maps over the air. Is there a maximum file size that File Sync supports uploading to devices? And if so, does the File Sync resume where it left off if network communications are lost to the device? Just for for reference, our SOTI MobiControl version is 14.2.3.1069 if that is likely to make a difference
Hi. In our environment we have clients connected both wired and wireless. We use lockdown to launch automatically on start-up in single app mode the Ivanti Velocity Web browser. Everything is working fine on wired clients while on wireless ones the page is blank because the application is started when the network is still absent, so the user has to manually refresh screen. Is it possible to set a delay or set the application to start after the presence of the network connection? Mobicontrol Version is: 15.0.1.1181 Thanks and regards Roberto
I get the following error message on my mobile device (Android): "notification access is not available for apps in the work profile". Is there some sort of policy needs to be enabled for Android devices to allow notifications? I've tried from the mobile device itself and not clear what needs to be done
I have deployed a WLAN config for eap-tls config for my Android enterprise devices. But there is no option on the WLAN config to set a proxy server . I see delays on the google account provisioning so I need to keep a proxy set until that completes. Is there any xml I can apply to apply the proxy on a device with an existing soti mobicontrol eap-tls wlan config?
Currently using MobiControl version 14.3.3.1111 where we have some custom data setup for the devices. Around half of the devices do not show custom data and I am wanting to search just for these. However there is no search parameter for "Is Blank", "IsNull" or similar. Is there a way to search for these devices that anyone is aware of please? Thanks all

Hi, one of our customers updated his SOTI Version to 14.4.9 today. He's getting a SSL-Handshake / Certificate failure on some devices now, as well as other devices who are connecting, disconnecting and reconnecting every 2-5 minutes. In the admin utility the customers mentioned that the certificate was FQDN, but after the installation it was the primary IP. He changed it to FQDN, not getting the errors. See screenshots and log 2020-04-16 12:50:16.555|AsyncTask #3|D|AP|[AppCatalogX509TrustManager][isChainTrusted] unable to verify certificate with net.soti.ssl.EnterpriseTrustChecker|2020-04-16 12:50:16.567|AsyncTask #3|E|AP|[ssl] Error occurred|javax.net.ssl.SSLException: [verifyIpAddress] failed. Hostname[IP Cns[[[2, FQDN]]] at net.soti.ssl.DefaultHostnameVerifier.verifyIpAddress(SourceFile:52) Any ideas? What would be correct? Put the certificate with IP Address back in order or use FQDN? Thanks for your thoughts, Regards, Benny

Hello, Is there a way to give a group of technicians only permission to see the device's screen but not to act on it or does this feature not exist ? (Android Plus / MC 14.4.8.1043) Thank you in advance. Best regards,
I was reviewing the shared device functionality. While I can setup the shared device and it is able to validate the login though IDP I was seeing an issue where. The login Error: Failed to prepare device with your applications and policies. However I didn't see any information on further setup.
Hello, We would like to retrieve some device information via the MobiControl API but can't find a related request. 1. Real time location of the device We could create a data collection rule then retrieve data via the request : GET /devices/collectedData But we hope there is a more direct and less restrictive way to retrieve this information. 2. System date and time Also, is there a method to find out the time of the lastest device reboot ? (I did not find the event in the Device Event of Alert rule) (MC Version: 14.3.3.1111 / Android Enterprise DO) Thank you in advance. Best regards,
Hi all, Here's my issue. I have an Asus P00A tablet that has a lockdown profile on it. The problem is, I am now having to work from home now. Normally, I have our company networks saved onto the tablets, so they connect automatically. Since I am home, I need to get to Admin mode in order to put in my wifi password. On the Samsung devices I have, I can just hold down the back button to get the Admin access to pop up to type in my password. That is not the case with the Asus. Also, with my Samsung tablets that I have in Kiosk mode, I can do the swipe from the left side of the screen thing, that also does not work with Asus. Does anyone know how I can get to Admin mode on this Asus without using a script (since it won't get to the tablet anyway) or without just clicking it through the Remote Control section, since I can't remote control it. Thank you.
Hi, after setting up a dev server with the newest SOTI V15 I could successfully enroll TC77, but this older one TC75 (Zebra/Symbol) is showing the following error "Enrollment-failed". No Android Enterprise enrollment has been disabled. How can I fix this? Is there a way to "enable" it via Stagenow? I couldn't find any. Thanks for your ideas. Regards, Benny
Hello, I take back a SOTI (cloud, in 13.4) installation of 120 samsung Galaxy A6. They where enrolled with the same google account (a personal one).
