Hello Is it possible to have the webconsole in a port different from 443 and manage Android Enterprise (Work Managed Device) devices? In a case we have, the 443 port of the public IP is already in use for another application, so we use 7443, but when enrolling an Android Enterprise device, after entering enrollment ID, there is warning about server certificate and it eve though you accept, it keeps on showing it. When you choose to see the certificate it shows the info of ssl certificate of 443 port not the certificate Mobicontrol generated for 7443. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you
Hello,I was wondering if there is a way to Automatically install the Device Plugin (if one is available in database) on a newly enrolled Android Enterprise device. Instead of clicking the "Install Device Plugin" action button. I presume by creating a package with a downloaded Plugin. (Or a filesync rule.)What I hope to find is a script command. Cloud server version : 14.4.0.4857
I have a 14.2.3.1069 instance with Zebra MC93s enrolling with AEDO via StageNow on agent version 13.7.6 Build 1004. The devices are running the latest public Oreo BSP from Zebra (01-21-18.00-OG-U00-STD) for the Helios devices and have the Zebra OEM Plugin (Zebra_Hawkeye_RC_AE_1.6.0.102) installed. On just about 1 out of 3 of the devices I enroll I get a prompt to manually enable the modify system settings permission. The other devices never prompt for this and install all packages and profiles without issue. The devices that prompt for this actually fail to install any packages containing APKs, citing storage/permission issues. After granting the permission manually and then forcing a package reinstallation the installation is successful. Any idea on what might be going on here?
Hi, With the device in AE, is it possible to add the Google Bindings at a later date or can it only be done at the point of enrollment? Thanks Josh.
Hi, I'm trying to automate having to grant MobiControl access to apps with usage access. Thanks Josh.
Good morning everyone, Could anyone tell me if there is a way to enable the following "Advanced Permissions" on the MobiControl App on a Samsung Galaxy S7 through a script or Feature Controls? Apps that can appear on top and Apps that can change systems settings We are using Samsung Galaxy S7s, and Version: 14.2.2.1170 of Soti MobiControl MDM, and Version 13.8.0 Build 1047 of the MobiControl App. Thank you for any suggestions that you can provide.
Hello, I have a Google Pixel 3a XL device (Android Version: 9) and I'm wanting to enable the remote control option instead of the remote view option. How do I go about doing this? The device is a Work Managed Device. Thanks, John Phillips
We are looking to lock phones down to only be able to call one support number. I'd like to use the enrolment of Android Enterprise as it is a lot faster to deploy and the phone call restrictions from Android Plus profile. When attempting this the Android Plus profile is not assigned to the devices. Is it possible to apply this policy to an Android Enterprise phone? Alternatively, is it possible to enrol phones to Android Plus in a way similar to Android Enterprise that reduces any manual configuration of the phone/agent installation?

Hi everybody! At the moment I am testing around with the possibilities of Android Enterprise. I just successfully enrolled a Samsung device with Android Enterprise and "Work Profile" mode. How can I enroll such a device in AE Device Owner mode? I factory resetted the device. And what now? :)

Hi, I have a device that I have had in our live system many times that won't enroll now! I am provisioning the device as an Enterprise device by scanning a QR code from the GMS screen but it keeps failing on the Connection To Server screen. The device will enroll into our test system straight away but when I try to enroll back into the Live system it just fails. The logs from the MobiControl application just say "Connection to server failed" Is there a cache or something that I can clear that will help with this? I've tried to perform a factory reset several times and replace the OS on the device. The device is a Zebra TC77.
Hi All. There was an add device rule created for android with the option of skipping the activation of google account during enrolment. These devices will display the "Account activation pending" in the device details tab for android enterprise. We have now created and MGPA and done the binding on SOTI. Added this enterprise into the add device rule. Any new devices that gets enrolled using this add device rule will get the MGPA account (long charater string google account) This is the same rule we used to enroll the devices earlier with a option of skipping the google account creation during enrolment. Question is can we enable the process of the old devices getting the MGPA activated without a reset and re enroll of the devices? Mobicontrol-14.3.3.1111 Devices- Honeywell CT60 Android 7 GMS
