In R14 is there a means to report on not only the rights granted or denied to specific users but also what groups/devices a user is assigned to? Scenario:
For Android plus devices there is a file encryption policy you can setup to force the user to encrypt an SD card on their phone. I want to be able to do this in Android enterprise as well but don't see this option available. Is it not possible to do with enterprise?
We have created a lockdown profile in the devices, but in some cases we deactivate it through scripts when we give remote support. Reason why we need to know through a query or report, how can I identify devices that have left the lockdown mode or are disabled at this time.
Is there a way in SOTI Surf to show a downloaded file (PDF) right after downloading it, without the use of menu-bar? Under SOTI surf privacy options I can see the option to disable downloading or sharing files, but not immediately opening them after download. Otherwise I'll send a feature request.
I have a data collection rule and telecom expense management setup and it is working on most phones, but I have noticed that on a couple of phones that it had been working on initially are no longer reporting this data. On most phones, when they check-in, in the logs it shows a list of items of Data collected, but the phone that is no longer reporting this data only shows that it has connected/checked-in, and the biggest issue is that it is also not reporting the cellular data usage anymore. It otherwise works fine on most devices, it is just one or two that it was working on and then quit. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and how to go about resolving it. The notify script command for android has the following in it's online help section: '...Added in v9 to support re-enrolling a device on another MobiControl system.' But there is no example of how to use notify for re-enrolling. How do you use it for that?

Hi We have created a lockscreen for use with a Samsung Xcover 4, and was wondering if there is a way to add an option to go directly to the bluetooth settings. so that the user can safely pair the device with their vehicle. I know i can link to launch://com.android.settings but would rather not give the user access to the main settings option. Thanks
I am trying to find a convenient solution for forcing our Samsung XCover 3 and Xcover 4 devices to use only 3G-connections. We have about 500 devices, so it is not in my best interest to do that manually... The reason behind this, is that our version of the MobiControl-cloud is 13.0 and it seems that it doesn't fully support the 4G -connections. Or at least all the phones using the 4G-connections seems to be offline in the Web Console. So is there any way to do this remotely?
I'm encountering an error when deploying my app package "Failed to install application null from package". I have 15 phones. 14 are Nokia's and one is a Samsung Galaxy XCover 4. On the Nokia's everything works fine, the package installs. On the Samsung it fails. The devices are set up for Android for Work and enrolled in Soti as Android Plus devices. I have enabled "Unknown Sources", and there is no Google Play Protect on the phone. The phone is running Android 7.0. Has anyone come across this error before?
I could see someone mentioning about the problem of image(s) inserted in earlier post being erroneously replaced by another one inserted in a later post. This happened to many of my contributed posts too. However, this problem is still not fixed by Soti team administering/supporting this discussion forum. Also, I have sent two feedbacks (using the "feedback" button on the right edge) that many forum users do not know how to use the new "image insertion/editting" UI introduced about 3 months ago. Somehow, the old image insertion mechanism is not resumed, nor is there any document/reply to tell users what to input in the "source" field for the new interface. This forces more users to use cut-and-paste mechanism in their web browser to insert image, which likely leads to the image-replacement problem mentioned above. Ignoring the reported problems has already caused many threads to have incorrect images unrelated to the contents of the topic discussed. This seriously hinders forum users from understanding the problem/solution, and also damage the reputation of many contributors for including nonsense images in the post. When will Soti support team take action to fix this? Or should this be reported directly to the top-management?
I am curious if any has had any issue with a Certificate Profile failing to install and what it may be caused by. In my case, we are installing a Cert to a Zebra Android+ device to run an application. The Cert is in its own profile and the mandatory Auth is in a separate Lockdown profile. (This may be relevant but I have not found it to be yet) At some point after making changes to a completely different profile, the already installed Cert would change to an Install Failed status and the app would no longer operate. To my knowledge, the profile was not reinstalled and the Lockdown(with Auth) was not removed during this issue. I am able to reproduce the failure by revoking and reinstalling the Cert profile on a device (while keeping Lockdown + Auth installed). Once I attempt to reinstall, I get a failure for the Cert profile and have to Factory Reset the device to even get the cert to reinstall. Another note, not to distract from the main topic, is if you have Cert XYZ in Profile A and Profile B, SOTI somehow sees that the cert is the same and does not attempt to reinstall the cert when changing from Profile A to B via folder move or other means. I have a SOTI case open and have sent verbose logs but it's not really getting anywhere and I am apprehensive to move forward with changes I need to make in fear that it will bring down their production devices.
Upgraded MobiControl to 14.1.5.1284 and downloaded new Device Agent.When installed to a Zebra MC330K it keeps stopping.Older agent worked but had other issues. Any workaround (Miss the old v9 interface)
Hello, I made the setup for LDAP server and created the special group in Active directory. I added this group thru the Manage Users MobiControl Security User/Group tab and granted MobiControlAdministrators permission. I added to this group several number of users thru the AD snapin.
