HI soti dicussion i try to use command for on/off Power saving command , with this below Enable power saving writesecuresetting -glo low_power 1apply featurecontrol disable power saving writesecuresetting -glo low_power 0apply featurecontrol but i dont know command active or not because of power saving icon is not change, i think mat be not work with this command, it have other command or not, Or script working but icon not change?

Hi I've been trying to find a proper APK file for my latest devices within SOTI. We've been using an APK file with version "2.2.41" for a long time now. Now, we have some Samsung SM-X210's around with android version 14 on. When I try to login on these I receive an error message its not compatible with my device and in the end I get error 701 when trying to login within outlook application. I tried to look for a higher APK version.. but whatever i'm trying to upload... it fails. Version: 4.2429.1 (62429819) error message in SOTI; Invalid application file format. Verify the integrity of the application file. Does someone have a proper APK file around that I could use and upload? Thank you! Best regards
My MobiControl environment has 2 DS Server and using load balance. I Can enroll device normally in rule config show log device enroll come in from DS2. After I Test down DS2 and enroll new device but can't enroll device. What configuration changes are required or what additional configuration changes are required? I need to see over 100 devices that are experiencing the same issue that i pulled from Samsung portal. I can't query this information in SOTI so i am leveraging the vendor to pull that information and then pull the devices up in soti. I'm sure previously I was able to send individual website links to a device home screen but it doesn't work now. I did work with support and they don't know how it was possible without Soti Surf. For numerous reasons I don't want to use Soti Surf and catalogs, I want the shortcuts to appear as individual icons on the device homescreen. In the past I was able to create a profile for each shortcut I wanted and could pick and choose from them and assign them to assorted devices as needed, not all as one catalog under the Soti Surf icon. Does anyone know of a way I could do this? I am working with iOS devices on this issue. Thanks! Sue
Hi there I have an issue with our Zebra TC57. They all have Android 11 as OS. We are using an app policy in order to push out the app on our work managed scanners. The issue is this. In Maps my users are experiencing when pressing the microphone icon in order to give a verbal direction, it does not register. Instead of a "small face" that asks you "where do you want to go" it jumps to "You can try to say the following" and not going any further. Google Maps are allowed to use the Microphone in the settings, and I have updated the playstore. We are using a managed SOTI account to lo into these devices. There is a work-around I have found that works, where you instead of pressing the Microphone you press the search field and then press the Microphone on the keayboard that pop-up. Have anyone experienced to aswell? We are using the SOTI MobiControl 15.6.
Hi, I have about 400 devices that work as a price checkers in stores. SOTI Surf is being used with kiosk mode enabled. Now my client asks me to install a screensaver on these devices, while they are not being used. They want to show a list of videos(.mp4 or .mov) and images(.jgg, .png, or.jpeg) in loop. Any idea how can I do this? SOTI has any feature to configure screen saver? Thanks. We have 160 Android devices that use Google Maps. We would love the ability to share Google Maps favorites with each tablet. Has anyone ever done anything like this before? The problem is signing into the same account on 160 devices doesn't sound like the best idea. We don't use Google Managed accounts either. Just trying to brainstorm how we would make this happen.

I have enrolled a Fully Managed Android device with a lockdown profile, which include the default messages app com.samsung.android.messages however when I try to open the app I get the message 'Messages can only be used by the owner of the device'. Is there any way to change the permissions to be able to open and use the Messages app?
