We are using lockdown mode and SOTI Settings Manager exclusively in our organization. We do not allow users to get to the system settings. Sometimes devices will inadvertently get themselves in airplane mode. The users have no way to do this that I know of, so not sure how it's happening. They need the ability to turn off airplane mode while in the lockdown mode. Obviously I can't remotely control the device if it's in airplane mode. The only workaround I have is to have them get into administrator mode (which means I have to give out that password which I don't like to do), or bring it back to the office which isn't efficient. I noticed SOTI Settings Manager does not have this option. Is there any way to toggle airplane mode within lockdown? Using Android 13 on Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 device
I'm trying to enable mobile data on our devices (Honeywell CT40s) however I cant find any sort of settings for it. I've added the respective APN for the SIM cards we have and have enabled data roaming in the Feature Control menu but still have no option on the devices to enable mobile data and cant see anything regarding the SIM card in the settings. How can I enable this? I saw another post saying that I need to generate another enrolment QR code to enable it but I've done this and still cant see the relevant setting
Hello, I need to create a profile with a kiosk that launches an application every 30 seconds. I can't use single app mode because I want to keep the option of accessing the desktop to type the authentication password to switch to admin mode. I've tried using a scheduled task that runs every minute with a script that launches my application.But this causes excessive data consumption. Is there a better way of doing this? Hello, we have to move a lot of devices from a old instance to a new instance. How is the process to move devices from the old instance to the new one without having to reset them? We assume that the instances have been migrated successfully. Thank you!
We are managing hundreds of Zebra Android clients via the MobiControl agent and are currently designing a secure data transmission system involving our Backend Server, the SOTI Deployment Server, and the Zebra Android clients, as outlined in the attached component diagram. The objective of this system is to facilitate the secure transmission of confidential information between these components. Hello everyone, HAd this subject opened month ago, but then evolved to a ticket...Wich was closed due MySys admin having security issues on the server at that time. So , to get all informations. We are using Mobicontrol 15.5.1.1010 on premise. Already got Bunch of device (Mostly Datalogic Memor 10) But I was requested to make our Old "Datalogic Skorpio X3" able to be on the server as well. But Admin would prefer to avoid and get maybe informations needed directly. As well it seems that even if protocol seems to be the right one, he's still unsure bout KeyLenght or Crypt Alogorithm used by SOTI Client on the device. Hi everyone, in Mobicontrol we do have Compliance Policy for Android, Apple, and Linux. However we do not have compliance for Windows.. Any feature at MC to manage compliance? My client want to have a compliance then sync it with Clear Pass, so any device that not comply can't connect to company SSID, compliance example is checking wether laptop or PC has Sophos installed or no.. if yes, device can connect to SSID, if not, laptop or PC will automatically install Sophos..

Hi there, I'm trying to create an icon in the lockdown screen to automatically enable Zebra Datawedge. I found the following intent that works correctly if I send it via "send script" feature: sendintent -b "intent:#Intent;action=com.symbol.datawedge.api.ACTION;S.com.symbol.datawedge.api.ENABLE_DATAWEDGE=true;end" but when I configure the lockdown profile adding an intent: item, the icon has been added to the lockdown but, when I press it, the popup "Activity not fiound" is showed. I'm using Zebra TC21 Android 11 device. Any suggestion? Thank you,
Hi, I cant solve this can anyone help? I am running SOTI to manage a Windows 10 terminal. I have the device locked using the Lockdown option as I need the end users to navigate to just a couple of specific URL's. This works fine until I open the item on the kiosk home screen and it wont load correctly. (See screen shots below) I have narrowed this down to it opening the URL with the default browser which is not correctly loading the website. How do I force the URL to be opened in a modern browser such as edge or chrome? To confirm the website is active a we have no errors or issues connection outside of the SOTI kiosk / Lockdown config.
