Guys, I would like some help. I have some Joya A6 Datalogic devices, I would like to add them to Mobicontrol to manage them, is it possible to deploy them using Scan2Deploy with Mobicontrol Classic agent and registering registration number json file i have this problem can someone help me Thanks
HiI've noticed that some devices that I've enrolled recently do not show the MAC address of the device in the Mobicontrol device details. I use this information to be displayed on the Lockdown screen for support reasons since the MAC address is used in the firewall.MAC randomization is off. Both are running the same Agent version (15.3.3.1069) and are the same OEM version (11-20-18.00-RG-U00-STD-HEL-04) Mobicontrol version: 15.6
Just after some advice if possible. We're trying to enrol and start using Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3's using Android Classic enrolment (we have good reason currently but will opt not to go into any specifics on this). Those devices are running Android 13 on February 2023 security patch. We have only one live user currently and one test device in hand. The test user has periodically complained that the lockdown has crashed with a message saying that the menu could not be loaded and to contact an administrator. This is happening at awkward times and often when support for the individual isn't available. It can only be fixed if the lockdown is revoked and then re-applied. Agent version 15.3.1 Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has a work around? Not sure if this is a bug, whether the lockdown itself is at fault or whether something in the OS is corrupting the menu? I notice in Android 13 that you can select the default home screen between MobiControl and One UI - you can set it to MobiControl but on reboot I don't think its always retaining that setting and I have noticed periodically One UI gets set again. Not sure what the default should actually be and if this impacts the agent/lockdown at all. At a bit of a loss really and not wanting to go fully live until the problem is worked out. I was going to set something to maybe get the agent to log some more debug information to see what the culprit may be but have forgotten how to set up more logging via the agent for Android Classic. Hi, sorry for the bad title.Can I use the same scanner profile for all my Zebra MC3300X, but with different applications running depending on which scanner it is. I have them sorted per application in different organizational units.I have soti surf running on all of them and different web applications.I don't want to give the user the option to choose which web application to start. I find it not practical to have 6 profiles just for different web links we use on the scanners, but with the same basic configurationI have the newest version of Mobicontrol running and also the newest Android Enterprise agent.Are there best practices I'm missing or maybe a setting i can use for this?In any case, thanks for reading and your helpBest RegardsFlorian
Hello everyone. I'm using Mobicontrol 15.5.1.1010 On Premise. I received a request to try out some Older devices on Mobicontrol. We got Datalogic Skorpio X3 and X4 (Win CE6 et Win CE7) The Skorpio X4 works pretty well, and enrollement was quite easy. For the X3...seems that the server running mobicontrol got some issues with TLS 1.0 We reactivaetd it. , tried to see if there was issues with cypher, but can't find wich one is used. So..if someone got those kind of device , connected on a premise version of Mobicontrol , i would gladly accept some help... thanks to all
Hi - 1.When listing all devices within mobi control I have added in additional columns to view firmware version, lifeguard status, build version etc - a number of columns are showing as N/A do I need to enable an option on the devices to view these stats within soti? (device WT6300) 2. Remote access to WT6300 - when I remote to a device I cannot enter administrator mode? nothing happens when clicked on 3. The reason for wanting to enter admin mode remotely is to view sdcard/android/data files so I can edit files remotely , to edit the enterprise browser folder. I get a blank page at the moment. Hi We have some devices that are been set in some more restricted enviroment and we are having some issues getting the device connected to server, I'm looking for some more info how this works in practise. MobiControl version: 15.4.3.1012Agent version: 15.1.5.1049 IT has confirmed that Ports are open for (Outbound) as described in MobiControl documents, we have other applications on devices that are currently working and communicating ok. SOTI MobiControl Device Agents Binary/HTTPS 5494, 443 Outbound from the device agents to the deployment server If my understanding is correct this is only needed for communications, is there any answer from server that possible can be blocked after Agent initiates connection?Would there be possible for server respond to be blocked in FW even tho (Outbound) rule is set? Also how much would "Latency" be impacting the Agent connection, how high result would we talk before Agent would see problems whit connections and starting throw "Time-Out" before server could respond? Scenario for these devices might have an high "Latency" as we are currently awaiting answer and testing on this.

I'm seeing most new Zebra devices shipping with Android 11 and the replacement for the TC72 releasing soon. I've been looking at solution to the scoped storage issue when installing enterprise browser and enterprise keyboard. Using mainly TC72s with Android Enterprise automated enrollment. (AFW#) I've seen a solution to use file transfer to copy the config.xml and a script to %sdcard% and using mx to run the script and transfer the config to /enterprise/device/enterprisebrowser/. The issue is when I look at Zebra folders I only see /enterprise/usr/ and not the /device/ directory. I've tried using mkdir in the script, but that doesn't seem to work. Wondering if anyone has run into this or found a better solution for enterprise browser. (saw some people using managed configs through google play for velocity)
Hello! Trying to find the best way to make alarms work, and would love if anyone has any insight on what has worked (or doesn't). The goal: Android Device is used by a Supervisor for a Security Shift. We want to set various alarms and reminders at certain times (i.e. Verify all officers clocked in at whatever time, Check certain site for whatever, Start fueling vehicles). However, we DON'T want these alarms to be accessed by the user and altered, silenced, or otherwise changed. - The included clock app on the phone allows a schedule to be set, but I'm unsure the best way to lock it from being changed by someone other than the Admin. - Using SOTI's send message feature, is there a way to set those messages to be automated (and it's not on the device itself for anyone to mess with...). - Any other ideas that might work well?
I've removed the Mobicontrol Application from the soti One login screen. Re-added, but I'm no longer able to login to mobicontrol cloud, stuck in a loop.... Is there any way to directly login in the mobicontrol app and bypass the loop which returns to the soti-one loginscreen ?? I'm really stuck :-(
Hello Everyone We are on Mobicontrol 15.5.1 since few month. As always, I do my best to keep things working for our shops =) I saw that App Catalog becam App policies since 15.3 (if i'm correct) But when looking on devices, I see that there is still "Application Catalog Rules" Those are making echoes with the last App policie we made. Application Catalog is not possible to access anymore, so basically, how could i remove this one?! Thanks for your help
