Hello, I would need help with a problem that has been reported to me! I didn't do the initial configuration, and I can't seem to find the issue. Here's the problem: I am unable to completely reduce the volume. I can lower it almost to 0%, but not all the way, and the button that usually serves as MUTE is also unavailable. There's a configuration for SOTI lockdown, so I thought I might find an option there, but everything seems to be okay. I noticed some sound options in SOTI Apps, Settings Manager, and I've enabled all of them, but the same problem is still present. I've also noticed that the issue is not only present when the lockdown is active; even when I exit and return to the device's home screen, the problem is still there. Has anyone ever seen a problem like this before? We are running Honeywell CT30XP. Now we would like to do a firmware update, which is done with a policy. is there a possibility that I can control the policy so that this is only active from 22:00 to 4:00 ???

Volume of scanner beep is inconsistent throughout our scanners. Some have a beep, some don't, and others vibrate. How do I turn up the volume of the scanner when it beeps when scanning a barcode and keep it there? Is there a setting or script? Using MC93 Android scanners with lockdown restrictions.
Hi we have 30 laptops newly installed with mobi control ; it appears that the last windows update in July create a pb with mobicontrol agent. Can you cofirm me the windows mobile agent to use on windows 10 (modern version)? Thanks
HelloCurrently, we have some Ascom Myco 3 devices that inexplicably lose their timezone. This is also shown to me in the logs, but unfortunately Soti doesn't correct this automatically.At the moment, the SNTP/NTP option is selected in the time synchronization settings, but even the variant with the deployment server doesn't work. The only solution appears to be switching to the deployment server first, then reconfiguring SNTP/NTP, performing a check-in, and then it works again. We also use devices from Samsung, Lenovo, and Zebra, all of which work flawlessly. I don't know why the Soti doesn't correct automatically the time on Ascom Myco 3 devices. Hello I am trying to use a custom attribute in a lockdown configuration To launch a custom application according to the custom Attribute in which i configure a different application package. Here is my lockdown configuration using Launch://%CustomAttr:Appname% : Custom Attribute is defined and is sent to the device. But when I change the Custom Attribute, the lockdown is not updated. It stays configured with the Custom Attribute distributed the first time. Thank you for your help
Hello dear Soti users, We are currently using Mobicontrol version 15.6.1.1048 with Java (build 1.8.0_341-b31). We have been told by our IT management that we should please try to get away from Oracle Java and look for alternatives. I then found an article on the use of OpenJDK. SOTI Discussion Forum I wanted to ask here whether this is still the right way to switch to OpenJDK, as the article is already a little older. Did you have any difficulties switching? If I see it correctly, all we have to do is download and unpack OpenJDK. Adjust the registry values and then run the installer again. Is the distribution of azul zulu also officially supported? I try to push an updatefile to an device. First i try via package but there i got the message that the file size is to big (2.2gb) Ok i try to create an filesyncrule but the upload to the server is stopped after some minutes. Smaller updates and files are uploaded really fast. Is there an file size restriction on the server? Thank you Günter
