Aloha, looking for some help with Subaru Bluetooth connection. We are able to connect our TC 57 to the Bluetooth hand free but it constantly asks for another connection to read the text messages. Can’t acknowledge the connections while kiosk is on. Anyone has any workarounds? Thank you in advance. Have a great day and aloha!
Good morning, We have encountered an issue with pairing to the printer: - Device type: TC75 - Printer: Honeywell RP4F When we do not have any Application Run Control restriction, when we try to pair the printer to our app we have the following pop up (behavior OK): I have sent the script identify_activity, the activity linked to this pop up is: => com.android.settings/.bluetooth.BluetoothPairingDialog We are facing the issue when we are activating the Application Run Control restriction, we have a app control whitelist containing the following app id: net.soti.mobicontrol.motorola AtheliaAndroidUpdater.App Servitrax.Android com.zebra.hotswap We also have a feature control configuration. With that restriction, when we try to print/pair, it loads for a long time, does not display the pop up and ends up failing (behavior KO). I tried adding multiple bluetooth app id without success, for example: com.android.bluetooth com.symbol.btapp com.ppn.bluetooth com.zebra.bluetooth com.zebra.bluetooth.settings com.gonext.bluetoothpair We tried also using the manualblacklist command but we had problem on our devices after using it so we don't want to proceed like this. To be noted: our customer does not wish to have the setting app in the whitelist. Does someone have an idea about which app id we should include in the whitelist in order to make it work and the pop up to appear? Or what we need to modify ?
Hello, how can i set Blooetooth permission that the device is discoverable via Script. ? android.permission.BLUETOOTH_ADVERTISE
Hello, I would like to make the Bluetooth names of my devices permanently visible. Currently, I can only find them when I go into Bluetooth settings. This would be for both Zebra and Honeywell devices. Alternatively, it would also be good if it could be started manually via a script.
Hello, I'm trying to add an bluetooth shortcut to our lockscreen. The user should be able to add a new connection but not go any further settings wise. We are using Honeywell CT45P devices which are AE deployed, the lockscreentype is Activity Suppression. I managed to open the 'connected devices' screen (Screenshot 1) and the 'identify_activity' script will return 'com.android.settings/.Settings$ConnectedDeviceDashboardActivity'. But in this screen the user gets the option 'Connection preferences' (Screenshot 2) where several settings / menus can be accessed which is not what we want.If I try the 'identify_activity' script in the 'Connection preference' section the response is 'com.android.settings/.SubSettings' which is not helpful. Is there a way to determine and block this settings seciton? A call for the third screen ('pair new device') could also help but the response for identify_activity is also 'com.android.settings/.SubSettings'. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, I'm writing to you because I need help adding a "Bluetooth Settings" shortcut to a profile created on Samsung Xcover5 devices. I'm using the lock function on the profile and would like users to be able to easily pair a device. Without the user being able to access the other settings. Just as is possible with Wifi management using the Action://CONFIGURE_WIFI parameter. I've tried the Settings Manager application, but it's not compatible with the creation of a professional profile. I tried disabling all functions in "Function Control" and leaving only Bluetooth management, but this still leaves a lot of settings accessible. I hope I've made myself clear. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello, I am having an issue where all Android devices state that the Bluetooth was disabled by admin. I am unsure of what setting is causing this as I have enabled the Bluetooth within the Feature Control and within the OEM Config. I was able to force the devices to turn their Bluetooth on with a script but Scanning and Discovery are not working. The devices are TC21 with Android 13. What setting could be causing this to occur? Thanks
Device: Honey well Ck65 OS: Android +Pairing with BlueParrott B450-XT Headsetcannot get to pair when in Lockdown - go into admin mode has no trouble pairign at allIssue applies to both NFC pairing and normal bluetooth pairing
Hello everyone, We have a lot of equipment with soti mobicontrol, these devices are tablets with android 10/11. Is it possible to extract a report that shows the name of the devices connected to these tablets? I appreciate your help, best regards
We have a client which has 10 devices, 3 of which we've enrolled in MobiControl. They are enrolled into a profile which uses lockdown, these are Android Enterprise devices running Android 10 (Zebra WT6300 with RS5100 bluetooth finger scanners). The client is reporting that the pairing is much less stable on the enrolled devices, i.e. the pairing only lasts a few minutes and then needs to be paired again. Has anyone experienced something similar? And if so, did you find out what was causing this?
Hello, I really appreciate if any of you could help me with the following issue. We have a use case for Android Enterprise Work Profile in which we need an app that uses bluetooth in the work profile. The app is deployed sucessfully, but it is not able to scan bluetooth devices. The app works fine if it is install out of the profile. We have tested serveral apps in several devices (Android 8,9,10,11 from different manufactures), indeed I developed a small app tha only scans devices and shows a list, but the issue is the same with all apps. We have also tested the BasicManagedProfile app that Google sugests to test apps in work profiles. The problem is the same. https://developer.android.com/work/managed-profiles So the question is: Does the Work Profle allow apps to scan and use bluetooth services? Is this a limitation of work profile? I appreciate your comments.
I've tried the command below without success. writesecuresetting –sec bluetooth_name NEW_DEVICENAME
Is there a report I can run from within MobiControl, that will tell me what Bluetooth Pairings are on each device? Devices running Android 8 Would like to know if the device has made a pairing and the name of the paired device.
