Hi there I have an issue with our Zebra TC57. They all have Android 11 as OS. We are using an app policy in order to push out the app on our work managed scanners. The issue is this. In Maps my users are experiencing when pressing the microphone icon in order to give a verbal direction, it does not register. Instead of a "small face" that asks you "where do you want to go" it jumps to "You can try to say the following" and not going any further. Google Maps are allowed to use the Microphone in the settings, and I have updated the playstore. We are using a managed SOTI account to lo into these devices. There is a work-around I have found that works, where you instead of pressing the Microphone you press the search field and then press the Microphone on the keayboard that pop-up. Have anyone experienced to aswell? We are using the SOTI MobiControl 15.6.
Hi, I have about 400 devices that work as a price checkers in stores. SOTI Surf is being used with kiosk mode enabled. Now my client asks me to install a screensaver on these devices, while they are not being used. They want to show a list of videos(.mp4 or .mov) and images(.jgg, .png, or.jpeg) in loop. Any idea how can I do this? SOTI has any feature to configure screen saver? Thanks. We have 160 Android devices that use Google Maps. We would love the ability to share Google Maps favorites with each tablet. Has anyone ever done anything like this before? The problem is signing into the same account on 160 devices doesn't sound like the best idea. We don't use Google Managed accounts either. Just trying to brainstorm how we would make this happen.

I have enrolled a Fully Managed Android device with a lockdown profile, which include the default messages app com.samsung.android.messages however when I try to open the app I get the message 'Messages can only be used by the owner of the device'. Is there any way to change the permissions to be able to open and use the Messages app?
I am trying to process an XML script that will install the wifi and configure the frequency band for 5ghz. I have been able to do this successfully scanning the barcode but our devices are in the field so i am trying to do it programmatically. I exported the barcode config and saved it as a xml and synced it to the device but I am unsure of the command that will execute it. Mxconfig is what i normally use for the zebra devices but i am getting the error that command is not supported for my honeywell devices. What command do i need to execute this script?
Hello, using SOTI Surf 2024.0.0 Build 1 to open some internal links but the problem that the zooming need to be adjusted manually. is there a possibility to make this automatically to keep the same zoom from the opening of the web page till the navigation through it Thanks Amine
Hi everyone, I am wondering how to enable shutting down a device from the lockdown menu, without using the power button. We have several customers using Samsung Active Tab 3 tablets. They have the weird additional function button, but that means the usual power button doesn't work as a power button and turning it off requires additional actions that not always work. So my goal is to make a Lockdown screen icon, that will shut down the device. These are enterprise enrollments. I managed to setup a restart script using the Custom action in lockdown and a script in a cmd file on the device. But unfortunately I found out, that while the restart script works, shutdown and turnoff scripts already don't work anymore.Does anyone have any other idea? Maybe using the Action: command, or Intent: or whatever...
Hello Everyone, I would like to lower the amount of space taken up on our SOTI server. While deleting old versions of packages, I'm wondering if I can delete an older version of a profile. I found out that if I choose an old version of a profile and click delete, it still deltes the whole profile. Any ideas?
Hello, I'm unable to enroll my TC72 on Android 11 to SOTI. After StageNow auto populated the enrollment ID, it returned "Enrollment Failed" message. We have used the same process and enrollment ID for our other devices, A10 and below. I'm wondering if there are known issues with Android 11 enrollment? Our current MC version is rather old (14.3.4.1087) and I'm wondering if A11 is just not compatible with older console version? I'm thinking of downgrading from A11 to A10. However, I'm still unsure if this is the best approach?
Hi Everyone, I have several customers with fresh new On-Premise installation which are unable to use MobiControl properly. Everyone of them is on 2024.1.0It doesn't matter if it's Android Enterprise or Android Classic. Every device stucks on the profile installation "Pending Install" Older devices do not react to an Agent Update. With one customer I have the issue like a month ago already. Support told me that a new MobiControl Agent release would fix this but it didn't.Another customer has this issue since yesterday. The day before everything was working fine and they didn't changed anything on the system environment. Is somebody here which is expieriencing the same behaviour on their environment? I don't have this issue in my cloud instances.
MobiControl v15.2.5.1027, Zebra TC52x A10 -- new configuration to avoid application updates from Google Play Store. Profile details state all devices are pending installation, even after one week of reboots, and hard resets. Please advise. Thanks, all.
Hello, we have some Zebra devices (TC57, TC57X, TC58) with Android 10 and Android 13 that when you use the remote control, do not appear any notification to de user. But recently we have deployed a TC27 Android 13 device that allways show notification of remote control. Is ther any way to avoid it?
