Hi. I am adding a managed google play account to my android devices and some of these devices will not receive this account. I get the message that the device do not support this even it is GMS device. I have tested to run enterprise reset but still it will not add an account.If I unenroll and enroll it adds account. There is so many devices, so I was hoping to do this from MobiControl using a script. Is there a solution for this?
We have a strange behavior with our customerThey are currently staging many devices via QR code. With the staging network, it works fine for about 25% of the devices.The other 75% of the devices cannot download the agent.The devices are all identical in type and OS.When we download the agent via hotspot it works fine, except that the SOTI server is not publicly available and the device has to be rebooted to manually connect to the internal WLAN for the registration to work. This is quite cumbersome and time consuming.Now my idea was to host the Android Enterprise Agent locally on the SOTI server and download it from there and then adjust the download URL in the QR code accordingly.But somehow I didn't find anything clever how the URL could be or where I would have to upload the agent.Can you tell me if this is possible or how I could achieve this? We have all of our devices in lockdown mode, however, many users are requesting to change their font size. The Samsung Knox kiosk mode has this in their settings menu, however, SOTI's Settings Manager does not. I know we can use legacy scripts to change this remotely but I'd prefer the user to be able to do it on their own. The default font size is fine for most, but specific users that can't see well need the font increased. Our devices are Android 13, Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3.
Hi, Is it possible to open a PDF file with Soti Surf?
Recently, we have started to upgrade our TC57s from Android 8.1 to Android 11. The one problem that we have noticed is that the Calculator app package name is changing. The main issue with this is that it is not consistent among the devices we have upgraded and it ends up being one of the two names below. com.google.android.calculatorcom.android.calculator2 The kiosk profile is setup using com.google.android.calculator so any phone using the other one is not finding the app on the kiosk screen and is giving the error "package not found." The app in the Google Play Store only shows installed if the first package name is used, and when I try installing it when it is named the other way, I get an error. What is the best way to resolve this issue? We have considered using another app from the Google Play Store entirely to avoid this issue, but I don't like the idea of using some random app that could be taken off the store at any moment and cause mass issues.
I have deployed company portal application on the scanner and when I open it in Admin mode, I can see the option to sign in. When click to sign in nothing appears all I get to see is a blank white screen. Attached a screenshot. Kindly, suggest on this. Model of the scanner is MC9300

Hello everyone, one of our Honeywell CN80 devices keeps trying to download a file. This is no longer available in the Enterprise Provisner. I would like to cancel this, but I cannot find a way to do so. The window keeps popping up in the foreground. You will find a screenshot in the attachment. We use Mobicontrol 15.6.1. Thanks a lot

Hi, I created a MobileControl technician as a user. Then I would assign this role to a specific folder / place ( for exemple A is NY, B is LA, C is London). Finally I want that this technican can only manage the A folder NY and he can not go to B or C in the tree. Could you help me, please ? Thank you,
