Hi community I would like to add a button on the lockdown to execute a script. In the past I have used the lockdown command script://sdcard/script.cmd. It was working good. Today, script:// command is not anymore listed in the option of the lockdown. What is the current option ? custom:// ? The script must wipe the chrome cache. So I've used wipeapplication com.android.chrome. When I manually execute the script it works BUT the entire lock down seems restaring, is it normal ?
Hello, I am currently performing tests on the Zebra TC56, TC15, and TC57 models. On the TC15 and TC57 devices, the SIM card numbers are displayed correctly on the console. However, the SIM card number is not visible on the TC56 model. The Android versions of the devices are as follows: TC56: Android 8 (cannot be upgraded to a higher version) TC57: Android 13 TC15: Android 15 Could you please advise on the reason why the SIM card number is not displayed on the TC56 device? I would appreciate your support on this matter.
Hello, I need your support on a matter. Is it possible to see the name of the Zebra printer that the TC15 device is connected to via Bluetooth in the SOTI MobiControl console? I saw that this information is supported in the documentation; however, I could not see any information about the connected device in the console. Is there a different setting or method that I should check for this? Thank you in advance for your support.
Create a new configuration file - Manage Google Play allocation to multiple devices without enterprise registration, the configuration file is waiting to be installed. I don't know if it's because the device without enterprise registration does not support managing Google Play or if it's a system issue?
Dear All, Please try to help for me. I need to update Honeywell EDA10A devices and I know only one automatic update way, download firmware from Honeywell website and automatically upload these to device and runninf script. File size is 2GB and some of times system couldn't finish the file copy. Would be nice if I can create report which file available on the device. Do you know any way how can I do this? Hi all, We are in a bit of a pickle regarding Shared Device mode using EntraID Currently we have this setup:User Logs into device using their EntraID and passwordSet Session PIN is promptedOnce connection to Entra is made, device moves to Post-Lockdown screen folder.I have configured the Post-Lockdown screen so users cannot shut down the device without signing out first. This ensures the user signs out, the PIN is cleared, and the device is ready for the next user tomorrow.Here is the problemThere have been instances where devices have powered off due to battery depletion or similar issues. As a result, the device shut down while the previous user was still logged in.When the device is then charged and turned on, some users have forgotten the PIN they used, or its another user whos grabed the device and they do not know the PIN.Because the Device PIN initiates BEFORE the SOTI MDM, it shows the device as Offline and I am unable to clear the passcodeThis is a big issue and is basically bricking devicesHas anyone found a way around this?
Using a Samsung Galaxy tablet to connect to a monitor and mirror the screen. The tablet is connected via usb-c to hdmi. Once the tablet is placed on Lockdown, the mirroring stops (black screen on the monitor). There are 4 different packages provided in the Device Control that can be added to the homescreen: com.sec.android.desktopmode.uiservice com.sec.android.app.desktoplauncher com.samsung.desktopsystemui com.sec.android.dexsystemui I've added all these several different ways (together, alone,etc) and all provide the same black screen. Also have experimented with com.sec.android.app.dexonpc for possible usb display issues. Is there an easier way to mirror the display? What combo of apps should be used? Does a script need to be involved for all apps that may be deactivated through enable_system_app?
When I set up call log collection when using data collection strategies, why does the call log only show the last record when I check the collection details in the device details? Why aren't all my call logs being collected within the set range?
I added my iPhone using Apple Configurator, and it's visible in the Apple Business Management device list . Now, MobiControl has successfully added the device . However, when I try to send a message, I get the message: "1 selected device(s) do not have the MobiControl Agent installed, or have not accepted its terms & conditions in-app." What steps do I need to take to successfully send the message?
Hey Everyone, I am trying to implement Entra ID to our Soti Mobicontrol Directory. Everytime, no matter which tutorial I follow, it ends up in an error saying . I have done the MDM setup on Entra, enterprise and app registrations. Creating a client secret seemed to work but I still never go through authentication process on the Soti side. I have an open ticket as well, but I'm just seeing if I'm the only one thats experienced this or if there has been others that has gone through this as well.
