Hi, Did anyone manage to create a lockdown for Getac tablets to include the widget from Getac Settings to change the mode of the touch panel?
Hello Community. Is there a posibility to prefill the domain for the SSO login page? At this point we get the MS login page where the user has to type in his full upn (email address) and is not that user friendly. For example Managed Home Screen from Microsoft has this option in managed app configurations. MC vers: 2024.1.2.1046 on-prem Devices: Zebra terminals and tablets (different os: Android 11 - Android 14)
Hi, I've tried to lockdown a Windows workstation and ask myself how to deactivate the lockdown mode like it is on Android devices. Is there an easy way or do I have to kill a task?
Hello, For some zebra devices (such as TC27, ET45) AE Work managed OS13+, we'd like to assign button map key to switch on/off Flashlight/Torch when a physical button (Button_L2) is pressed on the device side, so when user is using another mobile application, they can directly switch on/off the flashlight, without going back to the lockdown I've reviewed remapping actions which is good, but I can't find out the Flashlight's bundle_ID or any configuration from MX side to toggle the flashlight (to make it on/off when trigger). We've already asked it to Zebra, but there is no feedback yet, so just wondering does anybody from this community know: - how to remap the button to flashlight for switch it on/off - or any other config that may help for this - or intent that can trigger this, but as we don't know the action/package/class name of the system flashlight, I can't design the intent yet P.S. Using a 3rd party android application is the last option here. But any other feedback is welcome. Have a great weekend, and thank you already! Zafer

Hello, I have created a Data Collection rule for my Zebra TC77 devices. The rule collects the "battery health status." When I click on the individual devices, I can select "collected data" and I can see it is indeed collecting like it is supposed to. The issue I'm having is running a report for this collected data. I have tried the following reports: Device Reports (flat view) -> Custom Data collection Device Reports (flat view) -> Battery Status Device Reports (flat view) -> Battery Status and Storage Device Reports (flat view) -> Device information with Custom Data Report All the reports either come out blank, or do not include the Battery Health Status. Does anyone know how I can run a report for this so I don't have to manually click through all my devices :). Thanks!
Hi! First post here 😊 We're using TC57 and TC57x devices All TC57 devices are using sim cards and are working We have put in sim cards in some TC57x and are experiencing some problems with some of the devices These devices are in a separate folder and when we put them there some of the units lost cellular connection If we're moving them to the folder with the TC57 devices, the cellular connection starts working again and if we're moving them back to the first folder it still works, but not all the time We cannot find any pattern except that these devices are TC57x and that they originally was used in Germany and now are used in Sweden, could that have something to do with it? The only difference between the folders are the lockdown and a script for displaying device name on lock screen. Any help would be appreciated 😊
Hello team, I have one article from you as mentioned below: https://discussions.soti.net/articles/000001443 Can you please provide the JSON code to use the EnrollmentURL instead of the EnrollmentID ? "{"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_COMPONENT_NAME":"net.soti.mobicontrol.androidwork/net.soti.mobicontrol.admin.DeviceAdminAdapter","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_SIGNATURE_CHECKSUM":"hn8mSNJMPcovWbnnWrb-uMpWZjNlNp-jyV_2A-Whumc=\n","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_SKIP_ENCRYPTION":"false","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_LEAVE_ALL_SYSTEM_APPS_ENABLED":true,"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_ADMIN_EXTRAS_BUNDLE":{"enrollmentid":""}}" I have replaced the enrollmenturl in place of enrollmentid but that did not work or may that is not a correct way to change the parameters.
Hi, We tried to test installing Soti Surf on a Windows 10 Pro device and the display always appears as in the picture even though we have pushed the Surf profile to the device. Mobicontrol Version : 2025.0.0 1032 thanks
Hi, I wonder if anyone have any experience with Power Apps in MobiControl? I have created a lockdown screen, and have no problems adding the main Power Apps to it. But I want it to be easy for the users to open a couple of specific apps from the lockdown screen. Like when I do not use lockdown I can add the shortcuts to specific apps on the homescreen like this:
Hello, I have a problem with the display of the screen in Remote Control on many Honeywell devices. The display becomes fragmented when scrolling. Does anyone else know the same problem and is there a solution?
Hi, We have received new batch of devices (Honeywell CT45XP), which should be installed for our field service management system in order to replace some old devices. Installation is very smooth with QR. The profile is configured with lockdown with few apps only allowed. The problem is that all apps are killed after returning to lockdown screen. And because of this behavior, our main app returns to login screen which leads to loss of previously entered data. Both Lockdown modes are tested, and even in Admin mode, no app is found in Recent apps. Apps are killed immediately after being sent to background. Any suggestions?
Does anyone know how the SOTI Windows Modern generates its Unique Device ID? I have a case with a setup based build of a Windows 11 machine, imaged it and deployed it onto other machines. But when I install the MobiControl ppkg it installs the first one correctly, the second one overwrites the first one with 1 number up in MobiControl webconsole, and so on. So it doesn't see the new added machines as new machines, sees the same DeviceID for all machines. Does see the unique Factory SN and the unique MAC adress, that changes everytime I enroll a new machine. The Device ID is server generated, so going into regedit and manually set a different ID doesn't work. Also tried using SIDCHG to generate first a different SID for Windows, and the user in Windows. That didn't solve it either. So where does it get its Unique Device ID?? Allready contacted Tier 2 support, but they don't know either.
Hi guys, I am running into an issue here with the CK65 devices. I am trying to exit the lockdown and prompt the admin password and unable to do so. I have tried holding the back button (which works on our zebra tc8300 devices), the ^ gesture and a couple other gestures but have no luck. Only way which works is to remote connect to the device and enter admin mode via an option on there. I would prefer to have a reliable way of exiting the kiosk mode in the case of a lost internet connection where I would lose access to remote control. Appreciate any insight into this issue. Thanks!
I've noticed that you can run scripts with the device inactivity option. I'm able to show a message to the device, but is it possible when they press a certain button there will be a action afterwards. I would like to close an app when pressing OK.. Could someone help me out? for example showmessagebox "error message" NO_TIMER 4if %ShowMessageBoxReturn% == IDOK goto KillBrowser command (kill_application com.honeywell.enterprisebrowser)if %ShowMessageBoxReturn% == IDCANCEL goto Exit
