I noticed today while testing SOTI agent updates via the play store, that both and SOTI and the Workday app we have assigned show 'free' in app catalog. When i manually clicked on the free, it showed uninstall or update for the app and then automatically started updating. And now instead of 'free' it shows 'open' we have about 5000 of these devices and I know there are others that are stuck on 'free' waiting for the app to open via play store to prompt the update. How can i do this programmatically to get them all on the same WD version?
After upgrading Soti Mobicontrol to version 2025.0.2, stagenow enrollment of new TC77 (android 11) using barcodes stopped working. TC77 is connected to the network and is connected to the SOTI server. However, the stagenow process ends with an HTTP 404 error. The error is visible in the attached image. Please, what should I do?
Hi, We just enrolled about 250 new Honeywell CT45P devices. The problem is that the ON/OFF button is on the side and when it is pressed, the natural grab of the hand presses the volume button on the other side. Which of course initiate a HARD RESET... Any way to prevent users from initiation a factory reset via hardware key combinations?

Hi all, feels like this question is most probably asked similarly a thousend times, however I did not find an answer for my specific problem. My MobiControl Server is running in the Soti Cloud and my devices should be enrolled in a partially restricted WiFi.This WiFi can access the Soti Server with Port 443 and 5494. Once enrolled this works perfectly.If I try enrolling a new device, it fails during enrollment with "no internet connection", while it actually was able to download the agent => so standard Internet via 443 is possible. Are any other Ports needed during the enrollment process or does the device need to communicate to some other URL during enrollment and with wich Port?
On our installed Zebra TC78 devices running Android 11 (11-35-20.00-RG-U00-STD-ATH-04) I experience the following problem. Devices have a LockDown screen installed with an application which uses or wants to use the Chrome Browser. At first launch of Chrome this opens (com.android.chrome/org.chromium.chrome.browser.firstrun.FirstRunActivity) that remains in background thus can not be accepted by end-user. Is there a way to do 'Use without an Account' via SOTI Script or otherwise? Thanks in afvance for assistance.
Hi - Am I misunderstanding the location tab for iOS devices? I've set the settings on the device for Location services always on, Permissions for Mobi Control app Location to always but the locate options are still greyed out unless the app is in the forefront on the device. Does this not make the function useless? If I've lost the device and need to locate it I can't bring the app to the forefront. Thanks Sue
We have users assigned the Mobi Technicians role as we don't want them to have full Admin rights to the Console. Since we have moved to Mobi Control Cloud and assigned this permission, those users are not able to via Profiles. I contacted support and they said we have to open each profile and edit the permissions and add Mobi Technicians. We have hundreds of profiles as we use them for email etc. is there a work around for this besides making them admins? Thanks Sue
We added an extra soti environment to our company with the latest soti version 2025.0.1.1.1164 on which we deploy our newest scanners to use within our stores.Type Newland NTL-MT90, all seems fine except for the remote control ! We can remote view the devices, but the remote control option isn't there.When trying to install the device agent plugin, the devices starts connecting-disconnecting and so on....An idea how to solve this annoying issue ?We have an existing soti environment which we upgraded also to version 2025.0.1.1.1164 with the same scanners on it and they still have remote control after upgrading soti !
This is the March Lifeguard update and it is failing on all the MC9X devices that we have. We just started using SOTI and the November update installed no problem. The device says 'Contact your Administrator' and SOTI just says 'Install Failed'. Is there a log file somewhere that has more information?
Hi All I have been using lockdown screens for our Android scanners for a while and have now been tasked with doing the same for some iPads, but i dont seem to be able to find the option. I can not use single app mode for the iPads as there is going to be 4 apps they can use. All I want the users to see is a screen with 4 options one for each app and would have liked at the bottom a name and serial footer as I have for the Android devices so they can easily identify the device for any trouble shooting.Is this even possible?

Hi to all we need to install an add-on of our software developped by us internally. We have to deploy a new apk usnig soti Mobicontrol but, we have no possibility to ask to no one to phisically interact, because our device are very very alot and all have a lockdown menu. If we manually install the apk, we have only confirm manually the complete access of files, but how we can automatize this operation ? Family OS are: Android 9 and 11, the first family with Android Classic agent, the second one with Android Enterprise work managed mode.Device Brand Honeywell We are spoking about device not new but alredy installed in various place in more then 60 Nations. We currently have some Zebra TC77s running A8.1 and we are upgrading them to A11.We then have two profiles, one for each OS version, and use the Assign filters to ensure they are only installed in the proper OS version and when the OS is upgraded, it automatically removes the old and installs the new. The issue is that, it takes a while until the MX version updates, and this causes the packages for device configuration to fail installation. This requires that we always go back and force package installation in each device... Is there a way ensure the package only installs after the MX version is updated (MX is not a filter in Assign) and/or to auto keep re-trying to install failed package, so we don't do manually?
