    WPA/WPA2 Enterprise without Certificate

Hello! I would like to create a wifi profile for a WPA/WPA2 Enterprise but without specifying a certificate (basically the "Do Not Validate" option in Android wifi settings). Is this possible? I only see 802.1x Enterprise (WPA2 only) and WPA/WPA2 with (presumabley) a pre-shared key in the Security options. Thanks!!

Custom Data or Script to get current default keyboard? Samsung

We are using around 2k Samsung Tab Active 4 Pro's that we are setting the default keyboard to us the Simple Keyboard app vs the default Samsung Keyboard.  The Samsung keyboard has issues with SAP's ITS Mobile Application running in Soti Surf.  We pushed the default keyboard setting using Knox Service Plug in and most times it sets the keyboard.  But we would like to collect data on those devices to know which keyboard is the default keyboard in play?  Are there any script commands or Custom Data collection that we can use to report on the ones that have switched to the correct Keyboard, and which are still on the old keyboard?

Device rename script in task scheduler.

Hello, I've got a script to rename devices based off Custom Data in Device groups.  We want our devices to rename themselves after being moved by device relocation rules.  My question is, can I have one profile assigned to all device groups that contain the task schedule to run this script once and if it will be run anytime a device changes groups?  Or do I need to add the scheduled task to each existing device group profile?

TC72 Android 11 : Work managed rather than work profile

I'm trying to install SOTI MobiControl as a fully managed device to my new Zebra TC72 Android 11. We have to be connected to the company's network/wifi in order to enroll SOTI in the past and we used StageNow to install. However, this time I'm doing this remotely from home. So, I had to install Cisco AnyConnect first to connect to VPN out of the box then install SOTI using an external SD card. It was installed successfully, but I was prompted to create a work profile. Is there a way to install it as a work managed while connected to VPN? Or was it me installing AnyConnect that was causing the work profile?  Note: Our SOTI MobiControl version is: 14.3.4.1087

Auto logout shared device when device is turned off for a set period of time

Hi, We are currently seeking a solution to automatically log out users from shared device mode when a device is turned off for a specified period of time, while still maintaining their logged-in status. Although we have enabled the option to log out after an hour of inactivity, we’ve encountered an issue: this feature does not trigger when the device is powered off.  This means if someone else grabs the device the next day, they can still user the account that was logged in before. We do not want to use the automatically logout after a set period of time, because this is causing unwanted logging out when the device is in use. Thanks!

    Certificates provisioned by SCEP

Hi there, Does anyone know if with this procedure, in the case of Android devices, it is possible for only the WiFi certificate store to be populated, but not the ones for "VPN and apps"?

    Inaccurate Date and Time Detected

Hello Team, We are facing date time sync issue in our devices, our DS is hosted in data center and  and we have customers across the global so we cannot use the DS for time sync. Each location has its own NTP server for their local Time and date, but in some location some devices getting this issue. We found some alternative like there is option to use "User network provider" option to select and we want this to be enabled along with NTP server. any xml or script, please you are most welcome.

    Zebra MC9400 unattended remote control

Good morning, i have a brand new Zebra MC9400 that i am trying to enroll in soti mobicontrol, but i can't figure out how to make the unattended remote control to work. I followed the guide here: Enable SOTI MobiControl Remote Control for Android Enterprise Device Owner (AEDO) Mode (zebra.com) that says that this new models doesn't furhter need the Zebra soti plugin Zebra_Legacy_RC_AE_1.16.10.121.pcg.  Without this package in the profile, i can only connect to the device (on the device screen is also prompted to accept the screen casts request) but i can't interact with the device, that is mandatory for our enterprise requirements. I also tried to add the package Zebra_Legacy_RC_AE_1.16.10.121.pcg in the profile (it was working with MC9300) but with no luck , it won't install in the device. My question is, why is the remote interaction not working ? Our mobi control server version is 14.2.0.2894 (cloud appliance) Many thanks, regards

iOS - Google chrome (managed) trouble Solved

I've followed the steps, create google admin account to manage google chrome (free) generate browser enrollment token, copy and save xml file created a separate app profile, add google chrome, go to managed tab and this is where I'm stuck.  it says to upload the xml file but its just a text box.  I tried to open the xml file and copy the contents and paste it into the txt box but it keeps coming back as "will only accept xml" and graying out the save button.   This is the only thing I can get it to let me save (removed token for security) but I can't tell if that is right because it didn't seem to change anything on my test device. <dict>    <key>CloudManagementEnrollmentToken</key>    <string>****TOKENSTRING****</string></dict>
