Hello, im trying to implement SOTI MOBICONTROL as my only EMM/MDM on Google Workspace Admin, the Google Team showed me that I only need to activate MOBICONTROL as a Third Party EMM and get a token to use in enterprise binding, but after all is done my enterprise email cannot syncronize, even with everything done by the book. Can someone help me out with this task?
What is the criteria for sending a script via SMS. The device I want to send a script to has a phone number in the device details section but I get a message that sending script via SMS is not supported. I'm using Mobicontrol v15.2.2 Thanks
Hi guys, At the moment I am in a configuration process with Samsung Tab Active 3. When I apply a lockdown to a device I am unable to turn it off completely when I disable the statusbar. I guess this belongs to the function of bixby. So we want to create a virtual button which is visible on the lockdown. Does somebody know if this is possible? I would be really happy if someone can help me in this case.
Hello, anyone has encountered a scenario wherein app gets uninstalled from the device? There are no logs saying that it has been uninstalled, and the app is showing uninstalled in the Application tab. There are two scenarios:1) Showing uninstalled in the application tab, profile is showing installed. Fix: Force package installation 2) Showing uninstalled in the application tab, no profile, no app policy related to the app When checking the possible related profiles or app policy, the device is not even in the assignment There's nothing unusual in the logs, nor in the device/web console log We've raised a case to SOTI but wondering if anyone had the same experience in the past.
I see the command ""Reset /W /delay 0" and I can run that script from the console scripts however I would like to put in a button on a decom lock screen that when a device is put in Decom mode a new lock screen is presented that gives a button to wipe device. One of our Companies will start having techs onsite in the next few months that will be working on replacing our aging fleet of Tab Active 2 devices with the Tab Active 3. We will be sending the 2's to a recycling center and need to make sure they are wiped before sending them off. Please let me know if the command above is supposed to work when called from a script on the lock screen or not. Thanks, Allen
Good morning, I'm a soti newbie so hopefully if anybody can help me that would be great. We're using Soti Mobicontrol Version: 14.3.3.1111 and are working only with Android devices. We have a profile applied for our samsung SM-A52SF devices (OS version 12). This profile is applied on 15 of our 16 devices. Under the configurations tab no Profile is assigned for 1 device. When I look under the profile I see this profile applied to the group where all 16 devices are located. Can anybody give me a direction on where to look. Is there any logging that I can consult. Hi, How do we get more columns here within the File Sync Rule – Rule Target? Currently there is only the Device Name Column, we want to add the Model. It’s really annoying we have to go back to the main menu to figure out the device model.
Hello, I am trying to use Geofencing on our Soti fleet,We have configured 2 alerts, one for entering the perimeter and one for leaving, to limit access to a business application. We then created a Perimeter to perform tests, in the Location part to specify the geographical perimeter applied on the device. The problem is that it is impossible to perform the first geolocation of the device with Soti.I get an error on the server side, probably a problem with Bing Maps.The localization is well activated on the Iphone, on the side of the Mobicontrol application the accesses have been given and the localization is well activated too. Without being able to locate the iPhone for the first time, it is impossible to apply the geographical perimeter, and therefore to use geo-fencing.Would you have a solution? Hi, does anyone have an idea why the update history is so different on the computer versus shown in MC console? Actually console shows two more updates that are not shown on the computer and the majority is not listed. WNS is not configured btw. But should update the information anyway i guess? Just needs a reboot or few hours. The PC was left as it is for days before taking the screenshots.

Hi all, We've a customer who had a couple of TC21 devices sent to Zebra for repair, when it left it was an Android 10, and when it returned, an Android 11. Before it left the time and battery percentage were displayed in the notification bar, see image with.png. But now it is not displayed, see image without.png. We've also lost the Home and Recent Apps soft buttons. The devices are all in the same folder and so have the same lock down settings/feature control etc. And when switching to Admin Mode (out of the lockdown) everything displayed as expected. Agent Version 15.3.0. Build 1006 * Have to use imagination, image upload not working
Hi, I'm getting the error below on a particular MobiControl instance, every time I try to add a new package to a profile. I.e. I can add the package itself, and I can select "Save and assign", but when I get the dialog which displays the folders, this error pops up and prevents me from actually assign the updated version of the profile to a folder. N.b. I've tried this in both Brave and Chrome. Any ideas what could be the matter?

Hi, I have a lockdown profile for some tablets I am trying to deploy an app from the Google Play store to it. The app in question has been whitelisted to our company's managed applications group, so it should be available. I am using Mobicontrol. Essentially I'm looking for the syntax for deploying the app to these lockdown tablets. I know, relatively straight-forward but I can't find the answer through a forum search with those keywords.
