Hello everyone, we're currently facing a frustrating issue and hope someone here might have a solution. We use Microsoft PowerApps on our rugged handhelds and scanners to capture photos of damaged goods. The app works perfectly on Zebra and Samsung devices, but on Keyence and Blackview, the camera cannot be accessed within PowerApps. Some important context: All devices are enrolled in SOTI MobiControl with the same profile and policies The camera function is enabled in the Feature Control settings Other camera apps (like Camera for Android) work without any issues on all devices If we unenroll the devices from SOTI, PowerApps can use the camera without problems This leads us to believe the issue might be related to OEM-specific implementation or how SOTI handles PowerApps permissions per manufacturer. We have already invested countless hours trying to troubleshoot and resolve this issue, without success. 👉 Has anyone experienced a similar issue?👉 Is there any known solution or workaround to enable PowerApps camera access for Keyence or Blackview devices? Any ideas or guidance would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Hello everyone, we are currently managing several Android Enterprise devices from different OEMs, including Zebra, Samsung, and Blackview. We are looking for a way to generate a report or dashboard in SOTI MobiControl that shows: The current Android version on each device Whether an Android OS update is available If so, which version the update would bring the device to Unfortunately, we have not yet found a reliable method within the MobiControl console to pull this information across all devices and brands. Does anyone know how to implement this kind of update status reporting in SOTI MobiControl? Is there perhaps a way using Custom Data, Advanced Search, or any scripted solution via StageNow, OEMConfig, or SOTI Hub? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyoneWe're unable to enroll s25 devices with android 15 ((Android Enterprise enrollment) on our MobiControl server (v15.1.5.1005). Can you help us? Do we need to try with some other .apk version through Stage Programmer? Thanks. Regards
Hi, I need to factory reset one of my devices, but it's not in my office and I cant configure it personally. Is it possible to make a factory reset without losing the Agent, so I can configure it again remotely? All my devices are SUNMI L2S PRO. Thanks in advance
We have a strange behavior with our customerThey are currently staging many devices via QR code. With the staging network, it works fine for about 25% of the devices. The other 75% of the devices cannot download the agent. The devices are all identical in type and OS.When we download the agent via hotspot it works fine, except that the SOTI server is not publicly available and the device has to be rebooted to manually connect to the internal WLAN for the registration to work. This is quite cumbersome and time consuming. Now my idea was to host the Android Enterprise Agent locally on the SOTI server and download it from there and then adjust the download URL in the QR code accordingly. But somehow I didn't find anything clever how the URL could be or where I would have to upload the agent. Can you tell me if this is possible or how I could achieve this? Best Regards Beni
Hi, Can we set the application on Android Enterprise so that it cannot download files in internal memory?
Hi Everyone, I did an update of MobiControl OnPremise Server. From Version 14.4.9 to 15.6.4 Everything worked as expected and I had no issues. Now I have one question. MY devices Zebra MC3300 with Android 10 still have MobiControl Agent Version 14.5 installed. I can't upgrade the Agent to the latest. Under the global settings I can only manage the plugins and the agent is not shown to me.Can someone explain to me why? The server doesn't have managed google play so this isn't a option for me to update the MC agent. Whenever the support did an update for a cloud server I was able to update the agents afterwards. Thanks for your help!
Hello everybody,[WHAT]Wifi disconnects and doesnt reconnect while signal is lostUsers are allowed to only enable or disable wifi itself, but that unfortunately doesnt re-connect to wifi when available. (we had a problem where when they were able to modify, they kept pressing "forget wifi" and complined)So users result to reboot the device, which solves the issue, but we are car company and each position has about a minute to finish his part on a car. So if somebody doesnt do theirs, because he had to reboot a phone it doesnt look very well. For short:Iam looking for a script (idealy), that would be something like SETWIFI SSID PASSWOD.or any other "connect to this wifi right now and non other" button that I can place in Kiosk.EDIT:I know that settings manager 14.4. doesnt show wifi network to clicks on it.and Setting manager 15.6. unfortunately allows to remove stored wifi even if define that "modify" is not allowed
Hi, I've tried installing the speed control android enterprise configuration but the profiles can't be installed (pending install), whereas when I try to push the kioskmode/lockdown profile it can be installed. MC Version : 15.6
Hi, How do you disable the clipboard on Android Enterprise?
Hey allI host a slightly out of date (14.1.5.1284) mobi control server for 2 customers. It has run very well to date. I created and manage 2 Android+ apps for them. This has worked very well on our Zebra TC70x Android 6.1 devices, about 40 of them.Along comes a new batch of devices. They are GMS Oreo 8.1 Zebra TC70x devices. I have updated them with the Mobicontrol Android enterprise agent. I am able to get the agent to install and the device to enroll. What I cannot seem t get to happen is a proper profile to install. If I look at the log for the device, I see " "Failed to Install (Incompatible Platform)". I am able to drop the APK on the device manually and it will install. What I have noticed is that my version of package studio does not have a choice for Android enterprise (Platform is only Android). I would like for these new devices to have the app managed as it works on the others. Do I need to do something to my package, or do something else to deploy my profile? Maybe some sort of custom script?
I'm seeing most new Zebra devices shipping with Android 11 and the replacement for the TC72 releasing soon. I've been looking at solution to the scoped storage issue when installing enterprise browser and enterprise keyboard. Using mainly TC72s with Android Enterprise automated enrollment. (AFW#) I've seen a solution to use file transfer to copy the config.xml and a script to %sdcard% and using mx to run the script and transfer the config to /enterprise/device/enterprisebrowser/. The issue is when I look at Zebra folders I only see /enterprise/usr/ and not the /device/ directory. I've tried using mkdir in the script, but that doesn't seem to work. Wondering if anyone has run into this or found a better solution for enterprise browser. (saw some people using managed configs through google play for velocity)
I need to know following if I use Google domain option for AE bind What are the advantage using google domain rathe manage account ( use case ) can we mange play store via SOTI if use Google domain as AE binding ? is there any thing aware before binding with Google domain ( is the SOTI change or sync anything on Google domain side)
On the OOBE (out of box experience), we entered afw#mobicontrol but are never prompted for our tenant code. Setup continued, which we skipped most of - afterwards it says "account action required" and it prompts to sign in with "Android Enterprise" entered in the email or phone field. I cannot change "Android Enterprise" value. I have reset the device twice with same results.
